The first image of the second study comes in under the correct Study Instance UID, but the remaining images come in under an HDIG- generated study instance UID. It sees the study as a duplicate. This issue causes images to be stored under the wrong study ID. The issues compound with further "sends" causing the creation of additional series IDs and SOP instance IDs. Resolution: ----------- The function that returned the accession number related an exam only pulled the accession number from the first entry in the Rad Patient file for an exam for a specific patient and date. However, there may be multiple accession numbers associated with an exam for a specific patient and date. The get accession number function was modified to accept an additional accession number parameter. The function will now loop through the Rad Patient file for an exam for a specific patient and date and looks for a match with the accession number provided to the function. If there is a match in then that accession number will be return. If not, then a null value will be returned.
