 This informational patch is to inform sites that the following new 
 Display/Capture/Telereader client installers have been created and placed 
 into the ftp.imaging.med.va.gov/Software/Released_Software/Mag3_0P122 
 folder:
  
 MAG3_0P122_Install_Rev1.msi 
 MAG3_0P122_Setup_Rev1.exe
  
 Note:  There is no change to the VIX installer. If you have already 
 installed the VIX there is no need to reinstall the VIX.
  
 Problem the new installers are addressing:
 ==========================================
  
 The original Imaging patch MAG*3.0*122 msi and exe installers 
 inadvertently removed the whdata, whgdata, and whxdata folders and their 
 contents from the C:\ProgramFiles\VistA\Imaging\Help\Telereader folder 
 when the Patch MAG*3.0*122 client was installed on a previous version of 
 the Clinical Imaging applications.
  
 If the MAG*3.0*122 client was installed on a virgin system (without any 
 prior versions of the Clinical Imaging applications), the whdata, whgdata 
 and whxdata folders were installed as they should have been.  Also, if 
 sites installed MAG*3.0*122 on top of a previous MAG*3.0*122 installation 
 and selected the repair option, the folders would also have been 
 installed properly.  
  
 The impact of the folders being inadvertently removed was evident when 
 users attempted to use any of the Clinical applications (Capture,Display, 
 or Telereader). The application detected that important files were 
 missing and it attempted to repair itself by running the installer.  
 Since the client installer must be run by the admin user, if the user was 
 not the admin user, they received a message to that effect.
  
 Conditions for Use:
 ===================
 Use the new installers if you have not already installed patch 
 MAG*3.0*122 or if you have already installed the patch MAG*3.0*122 client 
 and are currently experiencing the issues describe above.
