Enhancement Task IMAG-643 (from VA JIRA): JLV, VistA RAD, and Clinical Display DoD image retrieval from ECIA. Problem: VistA Imaging applications have not been able to retrieve images from DoD via ECIA. Resolution: Changes were made to the authentication and image retrieval processes to allow DoD ECIA images to display in three Imaging applications: JLV, VistA RAD, and Clinical Display. These changes apply to CVIX configuration only, so no changes are necessary for the site VIX. Added an exam number for each ECIA image from the retrieval of a DICOM tag (accessionNumber). For each Imaging application, unsupported DICOM Service-Object Pair (SOP) class identification and blacklists were added, so unsupported image types are replaced with a static image file. For VistA Rad, a modality blacklist was added for unsupported DICOM modality types. 2. Defect IMAG-645 (from VA JIRA): Upgrade to JAVA on VIX and CVIX to a supported version. Problem: The JAVA version in MAG*3.0*249 is 8.0.202 and requires upgrading in accordance with the Technical Reference Model (TRM). Resolution: Upgraded to a supported version (Java 8.0.251), according to the TRM. 3. Defect IMAG-644 (from VA JIRA) (from ServiceNow Trouble Ticket INC9394160): Upgrade to Tomcat on VIX and CVIX to a supported version. Problem: The Tomcat version in MAG*3.0*249 is 8.0.53 and requires upgrading in accordance with the Technical Reference Model (TRM). Resolution: Upgraded to a supported version (Tomcat 9.0.34), according to the TRM. 4. Defect IMAG-641 (from VA JIRA): Version History enhancement for 254 and beyond. Problem: The version history displayed by the VIX Image Viewer contained outdated information from prior patches and a version number that did not match the current VIX version. Resolution: Updated source code so the VIX Image Viewer displays the latest version history, and the version number matches the VIX version. 5. Defect IMAG-405 (from VA JIRA): For VHA users, Print/Export should appear in VIX Image Viewer's image context menu for MAG ROI. Problem: The Print/Export option does not appear for VHA (e.g., Capri Claim) users with only the MAG ROI key. Resolution: Patch 254 ensures the User Permissions are correctly applied when showing or not showing the Print/Export option. 6. Defect IMAG-401 (from VA JIRA) (from ServiceNow Trouble Tickets INC10558068 and INC10545101): Print and Export for Claims User. Problem: Print and Export for claims users do not show. Resolution Note: Incident was addressed in CVIX only hotfix 01 in MAG*3.0*249 and carried forward into the MAG*3.0*254 release. Resolution: Fixed the code that displayed the Print and Export menu options. 7. Defect IMAG-379 (from VA JIRA): MSI Installer PowerShell Script Update. Problem: The VIX Install required several manual steps and multiple PowerShell scripts to be run outside of the VIX Installation Wizard. Resolution: Instituted a more streamlined and all-inclusive PowerShell script as part of the VIX Installation Wizard to remove manual steps. 8. Defect IMAG-342 (from VA JIRA) (from ServiceNow Trouble Ticket INC9331591): Nessus scan identified vulnerabilities addressed. Problem: Nessus identified specific files that were determined to have potential vulnerabilities regarding Apache Tomcat. Resolution Note: Ancient Incident AutoClose due to no response to email. Resolution: Updated Tomcat server configuration file to be security compliant. 9. Enhancement Task IMAG-1097 (ServiceNow Trouble Ticket INC11310123): Increase the maximum number of PDF pages displayed by the VIX Viewer for multi-page TIFFs. Problem: TIFFs are converted to JPEGs too often. Resolution: Increased the maximum number of TIFF to PDF pages displayed by the VIX Viewer. Increased the value of a parameter (MaxPagesTiffToPdf) to controlthe number of pages that convert from TIFF to PDF. Any TIFF larger than 300 converts to a JPEG instead of a PDF.
