There are a total of eight patches and one .kid (host) file that must be installed as a group. If no ward automated dispensing equipment is in use at your site, this file will not be needed. For those sites using Pyxis, xxx=PPU, for Omnicell sites, xxx=OPU, and for McKesson sites, xxx=MPU. To obtain this file or if additional information is required regarding this ".kid" file, please contact your site's Informatix contact. Patch PSJ*5*260 will provide the following enhancements: 1. Add menu option Check Drug Interaction [PSJ CHECK DRUG INTERACTION] to the Unit Dose Medications [PSJU MGR] menu and the IV [PSJI MGR] menu. 2. The ListMan hidden action [CK Check Interactions] will be added to the Inpatient Medication profile template [PSJ LM OE]. 3. Sign/symptoms will be added to Allergy/ADR order check display (remote/local). The Observed/Historical and Severity will be added to allergy/ADR warning display info. 4. There are several changes to the discontinuation prompts for Inpatient Therapeutic Duplication messages. 5. The Inpatient Medications Profile view will now display the Creatinine Clearance (CrCl) and the Body Surface Area (BSA (m2)) if available. 6. Display all order checks (dosing and non-dosing) once an inpatient non-verified order is selected from the medication profile for verification except in the case of the process flow where a newly entered order continues directly into verification. 7. Include recently discontinued and recently expired IMO/Clinic Med orders in Drug-Drug Interaction order checks currently being performed in the Backdoor Pharmacy Inpatient Medications package. 8. Correct the missing Critical Drug-Drug Interaction against Clinic Order. 9. Correct inactive Unit Dose order that cannot be accepted. 10. Patch OR*3*352, which is included in this project release, created the Drug Allergies sub-file in the Order Check Instances file (#100.05).
