Harrison REMEDY OVERVIEW: ================ 1) HD0000000417677 UNDEF ERROR Problem: -------- If an ASISTS user views an ASISTS ACCIDENT REPORTING file (#2260) record with the following parameters: PERSONNEL STATUS field (#2) = Employee; SSN field (#5) = empty or null; HIRE DATE field (#336) = empty or null; using ASISTS option "Complete/Validate/Sign Incident report", an error occurs in Vista which causes the ASISTS application to fail. Resolution: ----------- When trying to retrieve a hire date for the employee, the software assumes a social security number (SSN) exists and instances where it does not an undefined error occurs. Routine OOPSGUI7 has been modified to handle instances where the SSN does not exist. 2) HD0000000171144 Need Ft. Sill National Cemetery (4459) listed in the OWCP charge back codes. Problem: -------- A Fort Sill National Cemetery OWCP Chargeback code is required by DOL (Department of Labor) for the submission of a CA1/CA2 claim. Choose the PackMan message containing this patch and invoke the INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE PackMan option. 2. From the Kernel Installation & Distribution System menu, select the Installation menu. 3. From this menu, you may select to use the following options: (when prompted for INSTALL NAME, enter OOPS*2.0*22) a. Verify Checksums in Transport Global - This option will allow you to ensure the integrity of the routines that are in the transport global. b. Print Transport Global - This option will allow you to view the components of the KIDS build. c. Compare Transport Global to Current System - This option will allow you to view all changes that will be made when this patch is installed. It compares all components of this patch (routines, DD's, templates, etc.). d. Backup a Transport Global - This option will create a backup message of any routines exported with this patch. It will not backup any other changes such as DD's or templates. 4. Use the Install Package(s) option and select the package OOPS*2.0*22. 5. When Prompted "Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the install? NO//" respond NO. 6. When Prompted "Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu Options, and Protocols? NO//" respond NO. 7. You may delete the routine OOPS2P22 from your production system after the patch has been successfully installed. **During installation the status of each CHARGEBACK CODE update is displayed. Please review and verify all codes were added successfully.
