Remedy ticket #1297944 - ICD 10 Issue Problem: ------- The provider uses the "Other Diagnosis" to add diagnoses from the encounter form. After several diagnoses are entered the provider then selects the "Add to Problem List" box for the Multiple diagnoses. Next comes a series of dialog boxes directing the provider to select the SNOMED code for each of the ICD-10 diagnoses. When each dialog box comes up there is no indication of which ICD-10 diagnosis they are trying to match to which SNOMED code. The provider may assume that the dialog boxes display in the order that the diagnoses were added. In some cases, there may be a diagnosis that is skipped because it is already on the problem list. This could lead to confusion over which ICD-10 code is being matched. The dialog box that displays when matching ICD-10 to SNOMED should always indicate which diagnosis is being match in the actual dialog box. Currently it does not. Resolution: ---------- The dialog box has been modified to display the ICD-10 information. 2. Remedy ticket #1257371 - Incorrect ICD code blocks are retrieved when editing encounters that cross ICD10 implementation date Problem: ======= The problem affects ICD-10 codes with the commonly used pick list display selection. The scenario is: when you create an encounter with a visit date that requires ICD-9 codes, the commonly used ICD-9 content is displayed. If you immediately create a new encounter without changing the patient or clinic and immediately select a new visit for a date requiring ICD-10 codes, the blocks that should contain ICD-10 codes do not display. The problem is that the GUI does not refresh the dialogue box that is required when the visit date has changed. Resolution: ========== CPRS will be modified to refresh when the visit date is changed.
