INC29025423 - R04(TOG) It was reported that when a provider ordered acetaminophen IV and then ordered PO, a duplicate drug therapy alert did not populate (HITPS-10794). Problem 1: ---------- In CPRS, duplicate therapy and drug-drug interaction order checks will fail (not display) on unsigned medication orders when a series of orders are signed and the first order is found to be a non-medication order. The issue is that the code looping through the orders, quits when it finds a non-medication order. Resolution 1: ------------- When a series of CPRS orders are signed and if the first order is a non-medication order, the code generating the duplicate drug order check will now loop through all orders in the series to check for a medication order and will build the array needed for order checks. Technical Resolution 1: ----------------------- Routine ORKCHK line tag EN was modified to search for the existence of any med order in the unsigned order array. If one is found, then it will build the order check array to perform duplicate therapy and drug-drug interactions.
