The error is due to the calling application not passing the patient's identifier. INC32073319 - GMR consults report generating errors AD+12^GMRCSLM1 ^GMR(123,"AD","") Problem: -------- VistA receiving a consult error when consults is being called with a missing patient record number (DFN). The error is being generated by an application that is using the VistA Integration Adaptor (VIA) system to retrieve information about consults, but fail to provide a patient identifier (DFN). This causes VistA to crash with a hard error. Resolution: ----------- Issue was fixed by adding mumps code that can make sure the user inputs a DFN when looking at patient consults. If DFN is missing it will give an error message saying no consults for patient. This will catch any VIA application that is retrieving information about consults with incorrect data being passed through.
