============================================================================= Run Date: JUL 22, 2024 Designation: OR*3*601 Package : OR - ORDER ENTRY/RESULTS REPORTING Priority: Mandatory Version : 3 SEQ #521 Status: Released Compliance Date: AUG 22, 2024 ============================================================================= Associated patches: (c)LR*5.2*569 install with patch `OR*3*601' (v)OR*3*588 <<= must be installed BEFORE `OR*3*601' Subject: MULTI-DIVISIONAL LABORATORY TEST ORDERS Category: - Routine Description: ============ Multidivisional sites have requested that the list of lab tests shown in the Lab Test and Anatomic Pathology Tests order dialogs is filtered. After installation of this patch and its associated supporting patch, tests that are associated with one or more institutions/divisions are only shown to users who are logged in to one of those institutions/divisions. This will prevent users from ordering a test that cannot be processed at their local facility. If the user orders a lab test for an alternate location from that of which they are signed in with, the tests are not accessioned, labels are not printed, and labs are not collected. There is no notification to the person ordering the test that an error has occurred. Sites Solution: The site has implemented local enhancements that restrict the display of lab tests to only those in which the accession location matches the user's location.
