INC5941402 - IFCAP FPDS messages and related issues Problem: -------- It was requested that the FPDS messages and related queries are no longer sent to the AAC. Resolution: ----------- Calling routines have been modified to unlock distinct open file entries when using shared file closing in routine PRCHNPO4. Calling routines to create a FPDS entry have been modified to no longer call the FPDS data send as well as any 'Send to FPDS' queries removed. VistA menu options FPDS Data Edit [PRCHOUT FPDS DATA EDIT] and FPDS Data Edit [PRCU FPDS DATA EDIT] have been set to Out of Order with message, '*NO LONGER SEND FPDS INFO*'. Also, the post install routine disables the current IFCAP-FPDS logical link to Health Level 7 (HL7). The queries related to data collected within the New Purchase Order [PRCHPC PO ADD], New Detailed Purchase Card Order [PRCH ENTER DETAILED ORDER], and Enter Delivery Order [PRCH ENTER DELIVERY ORDER] menu options will not be removed. Lastly, the post install routine will purge all unsent FPDS HL7 data in the HL7 MESSAGE TEXT (#772) and HL7 MESSAGE ADMINISTRATION (#773) files. Select the Verify Checksums in Transport Global option to confirm the integrity of the routines that are in the transport global. When prompted for the INSTALL NAME, enter PRC*5.1*220. B. Select the Backup a Transport Global option to create a backup message. You must use this option and specify what to backup; the entire Build or just Routines. The backup message can be used to restore the routines and components of the build to the pre-patch condition. i. At the Installation option menu, select Backup a Transport Global ii. At the Select INSTALL NAME prompt, enter your build PRC*5.1*220 iii. When prompted for the following, enter "R" for Routines or "B" for Build. Select one of the following: B Build R Routines Enter response: Build iv. When prompted "Do you wish to secure your build? NO//", press and take the default response of "NO". v. When prompted with, "Send mail to: Last name, First Name", press to take default recipient. Add any additional recipients. vi. The PackMan function INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE is then used to upload the backed up build onto the VistA system.
