 The Pharmacy Product System-National (PPS-N) is a Web-based application
 that provides the ability to manage pharmacy-specific data across the VA
 enterprise, ensuring that all facilities are using the same base data
 for their operations. It allows approved national VA personnel to easily,
 quickly, and safely manage the VA National Formulary which directs which
 products (such as medications and supplies) are to be purchased and used
 by the VA hospital system.
  
 The PPS-N application performs the following major business functions:
  
 * Add/edit/approve medication and supply information
 * Synchronize changes in PPS-N with VistA sites
 * Output various reports
 * Process additions and updates from First DataBank (FDB)
 * Search for and add drug information from First DataBank
  
 PPS-N v3.0.3 contains the fix for ONE Service Now Ticket.

 INC0473775 - Issue with the Copay Tier Effective date.   
  
  
 Problem:
 ========
 The system is looking at the date the Product is being entered and then 
 rounding off to the 2nd following month.  Meaning, a product entered 
 today (May 2nd) will have a copay tier effective date of JULY 1st.  It 
 was designed this way because of the lag time with the KIDS Patches.  Now 
 that we are using the .DAT update process, the 30-45 day lag time has 
 been eliminated.   So, the customer would like the copay tier effective 
 date to default to the Product creation date (that is, the current date).
  
 Resolution:
 ===========
 Changed the code to default the Copay Tier Effective date to the date the 
 Product is created. Changed the code to remove the Effective date warning.

 at one of the OI Field Offices. The preferred method is to retrieve files

 elect to retrieve files directly from a specific server. 
 Sites may retrieve the software and/or documentation directly using 
 Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) from the ANONYMOUS.SOFTWARE 
 directory at the following OI Field Offices:
