INC6279084 - Rx ONE-TIME PRN orders not revert to active when undo on BCMA Defect Tracking System Ticket & Overview: -------------------------------------------- 1. INC6279084 - Rx ONE-TIME PRN orders not revert to active when undo on BCMA Problem: -------- When a ONE-TIME with PRN order is administered in BCMA and then later reversed through the EDIT MED LOG option with a status of undo-given the order does not become active, but instead, remains discontinued/expired. Resolution: ----------- Modify code to allow an Rx ONE-TIME with PRN order to be reverted from recently discontinued/expired status back to active status in BCMA when the EDIT MED LOG option is used to change the status to undo-given. Technical Resolution: --------------------- Changed routine PSBLM2 adding code at UPDATED+148 that will revert an Rx order from discontinued status back to active status when that order has an ORDER STATUS of "PRN". Back-out Procedures: -------------------- Back-out will be done only with the concurrence and participation of development team and appropriate VA site/region personnel. The decision to back-out or rollback software will be a joint decision between development team, VA site/region personnel and other appropriate VA personnel. Prior to installing an updated KIDS package, the site/region should have saved a backup of the routines in a mail message using the Backup a Transport Global [XPD BACKUP] menu option (this is done at time of install). The message containing the backed-up routines can be loaded with the "Xtract PackMan" function at the Message Action prompt. The Packman function "INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE" is then used to install the backed up routines onto the VistA System. To verify that the back-out completed successfully, ensure the checksum matches the pre-patch checksum from this patch description.
