$TXT Created by CLN1G1.AAC.DOMAIN.EXT (KIDS) on Monday, 11/23/20 at 09:26 ============================================================================= Run Date: MAY 12, 2021 Designation: PSB*3*123 Package : PSB - BAR CODE MED ADMIN Priority: Mandatory Version : 3 SEQ #108 Status: Released Compliance Date: JUN 12, 2021 ============================================================================= Associated patches: (v)PSB*3*101 <<= must be installed BEFORE `PSB*3*123' Subject: BCMA GUI INCIDENTS FIXES, DELPHI 10.4 UPGRADE Category: - Routine Description: ============ This patch contains Graphical User Interface (GUI) changes and one MUMPS code change, which updates the required version information for the Bar Code Medication Administration (BCMA) application. Defect Tracking System Ticket(s) & Overview: 1. INC8582292 "What's this?" appearing in BCMA "Edit Med Log" for "Units Ordered" when you right click. Problem: -------- When right clicking on the "Edit Med Log" for the "Units Ordered" trying to access the pop-up menu, "What's this?" appears instead. Resolution: ----------- In the Delphi GUI code, there are exclusions coded to prevent the "What's this?" help prompt from firing. This scenario was added to the excluded list. 2. INC9154730 BCMA Patch PSB*3.0*101 Enhancement Request. Problem: -------- An error message indicating there is a History problem with an order is misleading. The error message reads: "An order was found for this bag, but the bag history is missing, please report this error!". This is caused because the order has changed and BCMA is not reflecting those changes until a refresh happens. Resolution: ----------- Since a refresh of the Order will result in the user being able to administer the medication, the message is being changed to reflect that within the GUI application when this situation occurs. 3. INC8839642 Site reporting testing results. Testing for Patch PSB*3.0*101 Item #8/11 within the patch Problem: -------- When administering an IV bag with a wrong/previously ordered dosage, a confusing error message was generated, and the scan of the bag was not allowed. Resolution: ----------- Corrected GUI to check the accuracy of the dosage when being administered. If the scanned label is incorrect, a more meaningful error message is generated, and the bag cannot be scanned. 4. INC16850342 Converting the BCMA and BCMA Parameters applications from Delphi 10.3 to Delphi 10.4. Problem: -------- Both the BCMA and BCMA Parameters applications are currently coded in Delphi 10.3 which is no longer TRM compliant. Resolution: ----------- Both applications have been updated and compiled in Delphi 10.4. The EHS help components have also been updated to be compatible with Delphi 10.4.
