Inpatient Medication Records Increment VI ========================================= BCMA Clinic Orders. This enhancement provides support for display and administration of medications in the clinic. A separate view is used to display Clinic orders versus Inpatient orders. The user can select Inpatient Order Mode or Clinic Order Mode to display the corresponding type of order. The Cover Sheet and reports have been updated to include clinic order display and printing. BCMA Witness for High Risk / High Alert Administrations. Medications which are identified as High Risk/High Alert are given special handling for which a witness review and second signature is required or recommended, prior to administration. Resolution: ----------- Delphi file MultipleDrugs.PAS was modified to always ask for the units of administration when they are needed. This data will be stored under the units of administration for the last dispensed drug scanned. 3. INC0000000711794 - PSPO #2265 - Field populated in error with scanner using med barcode. Problem: -------- When a medication is scanned outside the allowable time limit window, the Medication Log window appears. If a barcode is scanned while the window is open the information is entered into the "Enter a comment" box and automatically closes the window. Resolution: ----------- Delphi file BCMA_Main.pas was modified to not default the focus to the "ok" button. 4. INC0000000426560 - Have to select a check box that they have confirmed sensitive patient's identities without seeing date of birth and SSN Problem: -------- The Patient Confirmation form requires the user to click the "Patient Confirmation" check box without seeing a patient's DOB and SSN. Click "Next". 4. On the "Setup Type" Screen select one of the following: a. Typical - installs only the BCMA client program which is necessary for medication administration. b. Complete - installs the BCMA client and the GUI BCMA site parameters definition program. c. Custom - allows you to select which programs to install Typical is selected by default. Click "Next". 5. The InstallShield Wizard Ready to Install the Program screen will display. Click "Install" to proceed with the installation. 6. The InstallShield Wizard Complete screen will be displayed. Click "Finish" and the BCMA installation is now complete.
