The Bar Code Medication Administration (BCMA) Order Mode indicator light is not displaying when the only active orders have a pharmacy status of renewed, on call, or provider hold. 2. The BCMA Active Order Indicator light is not displaying for the Unit Dose tab when the only active orders have a Pharmacy Status of Renewed or Provider Hold. 3. Medications cannot be administered in BCMA after Nurse's initials deleted. 4. Medications Orders requiring removal with a schedule type of "One-Time" and Frequency greater than zero do not display the correct removal time in the "Next Dose Action" field on the BCMA VDL. Patient Safety Issue: --------------------- PSPO #3473 Problem: -------- Users could not administer medications in BCMA after the user who Nurse verified the orders deleted their initials in VistA. The site had the Non-Nurse Verified Orders parameter set to "Prohibit Administration". Resolution: ----------- Routine PSBVDLU1 was modified to send the first and last initial from the NAME (#.01) field of the NEW PERSON (#200) file if the user who Nurse Verified the order has no data in the INITAL (#1) field of the NEW PERSON (#200) file. 4. I12876210FY17 - One Time orders with schedule, do not display the correct removal date/time after given. Problem: -------- Medications Orders requiring removal with a schedule type of "One-Time" and Frequency greater than zero do not display the correct removal time in the "Next Dose Action" field on the BCMA VDL. Resolution: ----------- Routine PSBVDLU1 was modified to correctly store and display the correct removal time for these orders. From this menu, you may select to use the following options (when prompted for INSTALL NAME, enter PSB*3.0*92): a. Verify Checksums in Transport Global - This option will allow you to ensure the integrity of the routines that are in the transport global. b. Print Transport Global - This option will allow you to view the components of the KIDS build. c. Compare Transport Global to Current System - This option will allow you to view all changes that will be made when this patch is installed. It compares all components of this patch (routines, DD's, templates, etc.). d. Backup a Transport Global - This option will create a backup message of any routines exported with this patch. It will not backup any other changes such as DD's or templates. 4. Use the Install Package(s) option and select the package PSB*3.0*92. 5. When prompted "Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the install? NO//", respond NO. 6. When prompted "Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu Options, and Protocols? NO//", respond NO.
