Associated Remedy ticket(s): ============================ HD0000000287015 Incorrect Drug Cost in Outpatient Rx. Duplicates: HD0000000310399 HD0000000315367 HD0000000324086 HD0000000326615 HD0000000326922 HD0000000340646 HD0000000378074 HD0000000393590 HD0000000453449 Associated NSR(s): ================== N/A Test Sites: =========== James J Peters VA Medical Center - Bronx San Francisco VA Medical Center VA Western NY HCS Oklahoma City VA Medical Center Remedy Overview: ================ HD0000000287015 Incorrect Drug Cost in Outpatient Rx. Problem: ======== The LAST LOCAL NDC field (#1) is incorrectly being populated in the NDC BY OUTPATIENT SITE sub-file (#32) in the DRUG file (#50). This is causing the incorrect drug cost being associated with non e-payable drugs, which includes over-the-counter drugs, Investigational and some supply items. The cost and NDC associated with those drugs should be from the top level NDC field (#31) in the DRUG file (#50). This top level NDC is only picked up if there is no LAST LOCAL NDC (#1) stored in the NDC BY OUTPATIENT SITE sub-file (#32) in the DRUG file (#50). Resolution: =========== Modify PSONDCUT to check for an e-payable status prior to making the call to PSSNDCUT, which stores the NDC BY OUTPATIENT SITE multiple in the DRUG file (#50). ==============INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ============== It is not necessary to disable any options.
