$TXT Created by CREMEANS,THERESA at MNTVBB.FO-ALBANY.DOMAIN.EXT (KIDS) on Wednesday, 05/02/12 at 12:00 ============================================================================= Run Date: JUL 08, 2013 Designation: PSO*7*383 Package : PSO - OUTPATIENT PHARMACY Priority: Mandatory Version : 7 SEQ #358 Status: Released Compliance Date: AUG 07, 2013 ============================================================================= Associated patches: (v)PSO*7*367 <<= must be installed BEFORE `PSO*7*383' Subject: CORRECTIONS TO LABEL PRINTING Category: - Routine Description: ============ This patch will resolve the following issues: 1) DUZ is printing on the label instead of co-signer. 2) To change the USPS forwarding terminology on labels in VistA. 3) Remove "REGULAR MAIL" from the shipping portion of laser labels in VistA. Associated Remedy ticket(s): ============================ 1) HD0000000190711 DUZ is printing on the label instead of co-signer. 2) HD0000000464740 Change USPS forwarding service terminology. 3) HD0000000475631 CBOC rx not being mailed 1st Class Associated NSR(s): ================== N/A Test Sites: =========== Oklahoma City VA Medical Center VA Heartland East HCS Durham VA Medical Center Remedy Overview: ================ 1) HD0000000190711 DUZ is printing on label instead of co-signer Problem: ======== When printing an order label for a prescription that required a co-signer, the label printed the internal number (DUZ) of the co-signer where the label should print the name of the order co-signer. Resolution: =========== Routines PSOLLL1 and PSOLBLN were modified to print the name of the co-signer from the NEW PERSON file (#200) instead of the internal number of the co-signer in the NEW PERSON file (#200) 2) HD0000000464740 Change USPS forwarding service terminology. Problem: ======== The current terminology used for USPS forwarding instructions needs to be updated from "FORWARDING SERVICE REQUESTED" to "ADDRESS SERVICE REQUESTED". This fix will apply to only Vista labels. (non-laser labels) Resolution: =========== Update the 3 Vista routines that are used for non-laser label printing to the most current terminology. 3) HD0000000475631 CBOC rx not being mailed 1st Class Patient Safety Issue: ===================== PSPO#2054 PROBLEM: ======== When a prescription is processed and mailed directly from the site, the delivery of the prescription can take longer to get to the patient. This is happening because "REGULAR MAIL" is printed on the shipping portion of the label and thus is processed that way by the Post Office, regardless of the 1st Class postage that may be affixed to the package. RESOLUTION: =========== We are removing the words "REGULAR MAIL" from the shipping portion of the VistA laser labels. ================INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ================= It is not necessary to disable any options.
