It was found during SQA testing. When an outpatient drug is ordered that has a copay tier of zero and is not a supply item, a $ display is being shown in the prescription listing under PATIENT PRESCRIPTION PROCESSING indicating a copay is needed for the prescription. With patch PSO*7*460, copay charges are recalculated upon release of the prescription, therefore the $ display will be removed because it is determined that a copay should not be charged. No charges will be billed to the Veteran for copay tier zero drugs, but it could create a display issue for the user thus the Veteran might be told they have a copay when there really isn't one to be charged. Example below where the $ is displaying for the drug SIMVASTATIN 10MG, which has copay tier of zero. This patch should take less than 5 minutes to install. 1. Choose the PackMan message containing this patch and invoke the INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE PackMan option. 2. From the Kernel Installation & Distribution System menu, select the Installation menu. 3. From this menu, you may select to use the following options (when prompted for INSTALL NAME, enter PSO*7*476). a. Backup a Transport Global - this option will create a backup message of any routines exported with the patch. It will NOT backup any other changes such as DDs or templates. b. Compare Transport Global to Current System - this option will allow you to view all changes that will be made when the patch is installed. It compares all components of the patch (routines, DDs, templates, etc.). c. Verify Checksums in Transport Global - this option will ensure the integrity of the routines that are in the transport global. 4.
