Defect: 600321 -------------- In the description of the FIRST NAME (#.03) Field of the ERX EXTERNAL PERSON (#52.48) File, the word "first" is misspelled as "fist". Resolution: ----------- The misspelling of the word "first" has been corrected in the description of the FIRST NAME (#.03) Field of the ERX EXTERNAL PERSON (#52.48) File. Defect: 617434 -------------- If a patient's social security number is passed in by the incoming XML message containing hyphens, it will be displayed in the incorrect format. Resolution: ----------- Routine PSOERXP1 has been modified to avoid adding hyphens to the social security number if the value passed in contains hyphens. Defect 738665: -------------- When viewing the Patient Validation Screen, the eRx patient and the Vista patient display the STATE Field in different formats. Resolution: ----------- Routine PSOERXP1 has been modified to ensure the eRx patient and the Vista patient now display the STATE Field in the correct format. Defect 738675: -------------- When an eRx patient who has not been matched is being viewed on the Patient Validation Screen, there is empty space being displayed in the area that is reserved for the Patient Allergies. Resolution: ----------- Routine PSOERXP1 has been modified to display the allergy fields on the Patient Validation Screen in the event the Patient Validation Screen is being viewed on an unmatched patient. Defect 714113: -------------- While editing a drug on the Validate Drug screen, a hard error occurs if a space is entered after a numeric, while being prompted for the specific fields the user would like to edit. Resolution: ----------- Routine PSOERX1A has been modified to prevent the user from entering a space while editing a drug. Defect 738671: -------------- On the Validate Provider screen, empty lines are displayed in the event the provider does not have a supervisor or agent. Resolution: ----------- Routine PSOERXR1 has been modified to display the supervisor and agent fields on the Validate Provider Screen instead of blank lines. Defect 596368: -------------- When editing the provider on the Provider Validation screen, if the user answers "NO" when prompted to validate the selected provider, the default selection is "Next Screen". Resolution: ----------- Routine PSOERX1A has been modified to make "Edit" the default selection after the user answers "NO" during the prompt to validate the selected provider. Defect 693267: -------------- Under Prescriber Information on the Print screen, The full values for NPI, DEA, and State License are not displaying to the user. Resolution: ----------- The full values for NPI, DEA, and State license are now being displayed to the user. Defect 559682: -------------- If an invalid selection is entered in the eRx Holding Queue, such as a number greater than the number of selectable patients, the default selection at the bottom of the screen is displayed as "SI Select Itemxt Screen// T". Resolution: ----------- The column width of the action protocols in the eRx Holding Queue have been adjusted to correct this spacing issue. The default selection is now display as "Select Action:Next Screen//". Defect 740852: -------------- While editing a patient on the Patient Validation screen, it is possible for the user to enter a new patient name into Vista. Resolution: ----------- Routine PSOERXA1 has been modified to prevent the user from entering a new patient name into Vista. Defect 746275: -------------- There is no eRx status that notifies the user when an eRx has received all three validations in Validate Patient, Validate Drug, and Validate Provider. Resolution: ----------- A new status titled "W-Wait" has been added to the ERX SERVICE REASON CODES (#52.45) File. This status will be applied to any eRx that has received all three validations. Additional functionality has been added to Routine PSOERXH1 to ensure that if an eRx is removed from a "HOLD" status and has all three validations, the new "W-WAIT" status will be applied to the eRx. Defect 721629: -------------- Performance and speed issues exist when using the search and sort functionality in the eRx Holding Queue. Resolution: ----------- Additions to an existing option, PSO SITE PARAMTERS, have been made to facilitate the need for faster processing speed in the eRx Holding Queue. This parameter allows the user to select the number of days they would like to look in the past before searching, sorting, or loading the eRx Holding Queue, eliminating needless processing. Two new cross references, "EPAT" and "EPROV", have been added to the ERX HOLDING QUEUE (#52.49) File to aid in quick retrieval of records. A new field has also been added to the OUTPATIENT SITE (#59) File, ERX DEFAULT LOOKBACK DAYS (#10.2), which contains the number of days the user would like to look back before loading the Holding Queue or completing a search or sort. Defect 758991: -------------- Patch PSO*7*467 introduced a new field 'DEFAULT ERX CLINIC' (#10) to the OUTPATIENT SITE file (#59), however users are not able to access and edit this field for their division. Resolution: ----------- Input template [PSO SITE] has been modified to now include the field DEFAULT ERX CLINIC. Users can now use the option 'Site Parameter Enter/Edit' [PSO SITE PARAMETERS] to edit the default eRx clinic value for their respective division. This patch should take less than 5 minutes to install. Installation Instructions: -------------------------- 1. Choose the PackMan message containing this patch. 2. Choose the INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE PackMan option. 3. From the Kernel Installation and Distribution System Menu, select the Installation Menu. From this menu, you may elect to use the following options. When prompted for the INSTALL NAME enter the patch PSO*7.0*527 a. Backup a Transport Global - This option will create a backup message of any routines exported with this patch. It will not backup any other changes such as DDs or templates. b. Compare Transport Global to Current System - This option will allow you to view all changes that will be made when this patch is installed. It compares all components of this patch (routines, DDs, templates, etc.). c. Verify Checksums in Transport Global - This option will allow you to ensure the integrity of the routines that are in the transport global. 4. From the Installation Menu, select the Install Package(s) option and choose the patch to install. 5. When prompted 'Want KIDS to Rebuild Menu Trees Upon Completion of Install? NO//' 6. Back-out Procedures ------------------- Back-out Procedures are only needed if there are major problems (examples include the KIDS notice of incompletion or hard errors) resulting from the installation of this patch. You must have concurrence from Health Product Support before a rollback can occur. Enter a ServiceNow helpdesk ticket to obtain this concurrence. Prior to installing a patch, the site/region should have saved a backup of the routines in a mail message using the Backup a Transport Global [XPD BACKUP] menu option (this is done at time of install). The message containing the backed up routines can be loaded with the "Xtract PackMan" function at the Message Action prompt. The Packman function "INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE" is then used to install the backed up routines onto the VistA System. Validation of Roll Back Procedure --------------------------------- The Roll Back Procedure can be verified by printing the first 2 lines of the PSO Routines contained in this patch using the option First Line Routine Print [XU FIRST LINE PRINT]. Once the routines contained in the PSO*7.0*527 patch have been rolled back, the first two lines of the Routines will no longer contain the designation of patch PSO*7.0*527 in the patch list section on line 2.
