This software must be installed on a Windows print server for the functionality to work correctly. This patch provides an updated version of the FDA Medication Guide Auto Print Java component software and installation guide. The installation guide has been updated to include additional steps to install and configure a TRM compliant version of JAVA on Windows servers running the FDA Medication Guides Automatic Print Java software. The installation guide also includes updates to reflect installation of TRM compliant versions of Adobe Reader DC. If your site is currently utilizing the FDA Med Guide Auto Printing software, this release provides the necessary steps to perform a JAVA upgrade as required by TRM guidelines. INC9015272 - FDA Med Guide Auto Print Java software requires Adobe Reader DC 18 which is no longer approved on TRM. Problem: -------- Attempts to install JAVA upgrades after JAVA version 1.8.0_121 prevents the server from connecting to the CMOP server and causes the FDA Med Guides Printer application to fail. This patch is to provide additional steps in the "FDA Medication Guides Project Java Component (Automatic Printing) Installation Guide" to assist systems administrators in the correct installation of the JAVA software. In addition, it is necessary to update the Adobe installation section of the installation guide to reference installation procedures for the TRM compliant Adobe Reader DC 19 installation. Resolution: ----------- No code changes were made for this upgrade. A new properties file has been added and must be installed as part of the Java (JRE) installation and configuration. The new properties file provides the correct JAVA configuration for connecting to an external server such as the CMOP server.
