Below is a list of all the applications involved in this project along with their patch numbers: APPLICATION/VERSION PATCH --------------------------------------------------------------- WOMEN'S HEALTH v1.0 WV*1.0*26 CLINICAL REMINDERS v2.0 PXRM*2.0*71 OUTPATIENT PHARMACY v7.0 PSO*7.0*622 TEXT INTEGRATION UTLITIES v1.0 TIU*1.0*341 ORDER ENTRY/RESULTS REPORTING v3.0 OR*3.0*498 All these patches are released via a Kernel Installation and Distribution System (KIDS) multi-build distribution as CPRS V31B FOLLOW-UP PATCHES 1.0. 1. The Outpatient Pharmacy API, OCL^PSOORRL, was updated with two new parameters to accept a second set of date ranges for Inpatient Medications. Previously, this API only supported one set of date ranges used for both Outpatient Medications and Inpatient Medications. Existing callers of this API will not see any change in behavior, as if nothing is passed into the new parameters, it will behave as it did previously. Only if a caller wishes to use different date ranges for Outpatient/Non-VA Medications and Inpatient Medication they need to utilize the new parameters. 2. Patient demographics are updated to display whether a patient is pregnant and/or lactating. The View Prescriptions [PSO VIEW], Patient Prescription Processing [PSO LM BACKDOOR ORDERS] and Complete Orders from OERR [PSO LMOE FINISH] options were updated to include a pregnancy/lactation indicator to the right of the allergy indicator in the header area. This new indicator will display

for pregnant patients and for lactating patients. A new hidden action PL will display the details associated with this indicator. Additionally, the Medication Profile [PSO P] option was updated to include a WOMEN'S HEALTH section that will display the patient's pregnancy and lactation status. ***KNOWN RELEASE DEFECT*** Days before release, an issue was identified with the new hidden action PL. If the user utilizes various hidden options from within the updated options and then attempts to run the PL hidden action, the error PLST+15^PSOLMPAT *DFN is generated, and the user's VistA session is unexpectedly terminated. To prevent this issue from happening, installers are instructed in the "CPRS v31b Follow-Up Build Deployment, Installation, Back Out and Rollback Guide" to disable the new hidden action PL. The new pregnancy/lactation indicator will continue to display; however, users will be unable to view the details associated with the indicator. Patch PSO*7*441, part of the CPRS v32b release, will correct the error and enable the new hidden action PL. When that patch is installed, users will then be able to view the details associated with the indicator.
