============================================================================= Run Date: AUG 08, 2022 Designation: PSO*7*648 Package : PSO - OUTPATIENT PHARMACY Priority: Mandatory Version : 7 SEQ #563 Status: Released Compliance Date: SEP 08, 2022 ============================================================================= Associated patches: (v)PSO*7*562 <<= must be installed BEFORE `PSO*7*648' Subject: MCCF EDI TAS EPHARMACY 20 Category: - Enhancement (Mandatory) - Routine Description: ============ This patch has enhancements that extend the capabilities of the Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) electronic pharmacy (ePharmacy) billing system. This release was developed as part of the Medical Care Collection Fund (MCCF) Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Transaction Application Suite (TAS) project. Below is a list of all the applications involved in this project along with their patch numbers: APPLICATION/VERSION PATCH --------------------------------------------------------------- ELECTRONIC CLAIMS MANAGEMENT ENGINE (ECME) V. 1.0 BPS*1*32 OUTPATIENT PHARMACY (OP) V. 7.0 PSO*7*648 CMOP V. 2.0 PSX*2*93 All three of these patches are being released via a Kernel Installation and Distribution System (KIDS) multi-build distribution. KIDS multi-build name: BPS PSO PSX BUNDLE 20.0 KIDS Host File name: BPS_1_32_PSO_PSX.KID This specific patch contains the following functionality: --------------------------------------------------------- 1. The system is being updated so that the REJ action on the Outpatient Medication Screen can be used with pseudo reject codes (eT or eC). This update will permit access to the Reject Information Screen for refills with a pseudo reject code. 2. The system is being updated to correct a defect in which the user selects the REJ actions from OP Medication Screen followed by selecting the VER action. Upon exiting back to the OP Medication Screen a hard error is encountered. With this release, the hard error will no longer happen. 3. System updates include correct a defect related to CMOP processing. Non-billable orders on the CMOP queue caused additional (duplicate) entries to be added to the ECME Logs each time CMOP processing executed. With this release when CMOP runs, the system will not close Open/Unresolved internal eC/eT rejects, and thereby resolve the duplicate EMCE log entries. 4. PSO*7.0*561 introduced functionality related to 3/4 Days Supply logic. Part of that enhancement was accidentally rolled back by PSO*7.0*642. This patch adds back to the system the field removed by PSO*7.0*642.
