$TXT Created by at DOSN.FO-BIRM.DOMAIN.EXT (KIDS) on Monday, 08/07/23 at 12:18 ============================================================================= Run Date: AUG 29, 2023 Designation: PSO*7*728 Package : PSO - OUTPATIENT PHARMACY Priority: Mandatory Version : 7 SEQ #603 Status: Released Compliance Date: SEP 29, 2023 ============================================================================= Associated patches: (v)PSO*7*643 <<= must be installed BEFORE `PSO*7*728' Subject: ONEVA ISSUES Category: - Routine - Other Description: ============ When processing a OneVA fill (refill or partial), the user is prompted for a label device. After device selection, the software will first send the fill to the Outpatient Pharmacy Automated Interface (OPAI), if applicable, then attempt to print a label. But if the user selected a device that is not designated as a laser label device, an error occurs when the label prints because only laser labels can print for a OneVA fill. The user will get a View Alert regarding this error. When sending a OneVA fill (refill or partial) to the OPAI, the routing (WINDOW or MAIL) is based on previous routing information for the prescription from the Host Site. When a OneVA fill is processed and sent to the OPAI, filling information is sent from the dispensing site back to host site in an HL7 message. The problem is, even if the message was successful, the VistA HL7 message will display a Status of "ERROR", and an Err Type of "Message was NAK'ed". INC27275087 INC27270749 INC27275812 INC27461341 INC27671318 Problem: -------- If the user selects a device that is not designated as a laser label device, an error occurs when the label prints because only laser labels can print for a OneVA fill. The user will get a View Alert regarding this error. Resolution: ----------- The resolution, if a non laser label device was selected, is to not attempt to print the label. This way, no error will be logged in the error trap and the user will not get a View Alert. Problem: -------- When sending a OneVA fill (refill or partial) to the OPAI, the routing might be MAIL, based on previous routing information for the prescription from the Host Site. Resolution: ----------- This patch will now set the routing to WINDOW for all OneVA fills. Problem: -------- When a OneVA fill is processed and sent to the OPAI, filling information is sent from the dispensing site back to host site in an HL7 message. The problem is, even if the message was successful, the VistA HL7 message will display a Status of "ERROR", and an Err Type of "Message was NAK'ed". Resolution: ----------- By setting the ACCEPT ACK CODE to 'AL' and the APPLICATION ACK TYPE to 'NE' for the PSO DISP RX RDS-O13 EVENT protocol, the messages will now show as successfully transmitted.
