Correcting misrouted save logic so Interchange/Substitution text is stored in the proper file entry. 2. Ensuring updated request text displays correctly when the MailMan report is generated. EHRM Impact Statement: ---------------------- This patch should have no EHRM impact, and can be installed at all sites, including EHRM converted sites. Even though the message text appeared to update, the changes reverted back each time the screen was reopened. Attempts were made using both subtypes, but the issue occurred consistently. An additional issue was found during SQA testing regarding line deletions. That issue was addressed under the same ticket. Resolution: ----------- Investigation showed that the updated text was being saved but it was stored in the wrong file entry in file ERX SERVICE REASON CODES (#52.45), which caused the application to display the old text and appear as though updates were not saving. PSOERPC3 was modified so that the Therapeutic Interchange/Substitution is stored properly for this request type. The additional issue was also fixed by modifying PSOERPC3 to properly save a deleted line. 2. INC40683175 - PSO INTERNET REFILL REPORTS AND MAILMAN MESSAGES Problem: -------- The number of internet refills being processed had dropped below normal levels, raising concern that the automatic refill process was not running correctly. The issue was submitted to verify system functionality and ensure refills were still being processed as expected. Resolution: ----------- Review of the issue determined that there is no coding defect causing lower internet refill numbers. Instead, the concern appears to relate to how and when the MailMan report is generated during the nightly process. The team identified that a message should be added to the bottom of the MailMan report to better clarify the number of refills processed. Back-out/Roll Back Plan: ------------------------ Back-out will be done only with the concurrence and participation of development team and appropriate VA site/region personnel. The decision to back-out or rollback software will be a joint decision between development team, VA site/region personnel and other appropriate VA personnel. Prior to installing an updated KIDS package, the site/region should have saved a backup of the routines in a mail message using the Backup a Transport Global [XPD BACKUP] menu option (this is done at time of install). The message containing the backed-up routines can be loaded with the "Xtract PackMan" function at the Message Action prompt. The Packman function "INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE" is then used to install the backed up routines onto the VistA System. The back-out plan is to restore the routine from the backup created. No data was modified by this patch installation and, therefore, no rollback strategy is required.
