PSS*1*172 2. OR*3*266 3. PSJ*5*279 4. PSB*3*70 This enhancement also includes a new Graphical User Interface (GUI) executable file, BCMA GUI version 3.0.70.65. Installation of this GUI is required immediately after the KIDS install for the Patch to function. ************************************************************************** Inpatient Medication Records Increment VI ========================================= This enhancement adds a new field High Risk/High Alert (#1) to the PHARMACY ORDERABLE ITEM file (#50.7) to indicate if a medication is a High Risk High Alert medications that needs a witness during medication administration to patients via the Bar Code Medication Administration (BCMA) GUI client software. This supports the witness enhancements that are implemented in the BCMA patch PSB*3.0*70. T@0 Enhancement (Labels Per Day) ================================ This enhancement creates the Labels Per Day (#155) field in the IV (#100) multiple in the PHARMACY PATIENT (#55) file. This field is used to define the number of daily labels needed for a continuous IV order when it is different than the number of labels the system would have calculated based on the order's Volume and Infusion Rate. The new INFUSION INSTRUCTIONS (#53.47) file is being implemented to allow sites to set up abbreviations that may be entered into the Infusion Rate field that will be expanded to a longer text string. The Infusion Instructions Managment [PSS INFINS MGR] menu has been created to hold the new Infusion Instructions Add/Edit [PSS INFINS ADED] option and Infusion Instructions Report [PSS INFINS RPT] option, to allow editing and listing of the contents of the INFUSION INSTRUCTIONS (#53.47) file. The Infusion Instructions Managment [PSS INFINS MGR] menu has been added to the Pharmacy Data Management [PSS MGR] menu. INVALID DATE/TIME for IV Labels -------------------------------- This patch adds a new INVALID DATE/TIME field (#9) in the BCMA ID (#105) sub-file of the IV (#100) sub-file of the PHARMACY PATIENT (#55) file. This new field contains the date/time the IV label was invalidated due to a change, or edit, made to the IV order. Each time a change is made to an IV order, the BCMA IV parameters are checked to determine if the change should invalidate IV labels printed prior to the change, or if the IV labels printed prior to the change should continue to be available for infusing.
