After installation of PSS*1*200, the drug selection list for the Drug Enter/Edit [PSS DRUG ENTER/EDIT] and Lookup into Dispensed Drug File [PSS LOOK] options did not display the drug identifiers for all drugs that are not matched to NDF. Choosing an unmatched drug from the list still displayed all pertinent information in the body of the lookup screen. Unmatched products are only a small fraction of overall prescriptions filled in the VA, and most of the unmatched products are either inactive, supplies, or very low use items. This defect will not affect order entry screens. The following example of the Drug Enter/Edit [PSS DRUG ENTER/EDIT] screen shows WARFARIN 2MG TAB which is matched to NDF and WARFARIN 4MG TAB which is not matched to NDF. Both drugs have the same identifiers. They show for the 2MG but not the 4MG. Also please note that this example was taken from a development account with canned messages that we defined for testing purposes. The identifiers still show for unmatched drugs in the body of the lookup screen after installation of PSS*1*200. This follow-up patch will correct the drug listing to display the defined identifiers for all drugs (matched, unmatched).
