During the delay, invoice data is being filed into the Drug File (File 50). This process includes a delay command resulting in a two second delay for each invoiced line item. With multiple line items, this delay becomes excessive. The delay command was eliminated. Defect Tracking System Ticket(s) & Overview: -------------------------------------------- 1) INC8786346 - PSA VERIFY INVOICES New onset delay in process Problem: -------- This option is used to verify invoices downloaded from the Prime Vendor in the Pharmacy Drug Accountability package. After installation of PSS*1*236, a new lag/delay in completing this process was noticed. Resolution: --------- Patch PSS*1*236 modified the verification process to include a command to delay one second. This delay occurs twice for each invoiced line item. With multiple line items, this delay became excessive. The delay command was eliminated from tag ST of routine PSSPRICE. The message containing the backed-up routines can be loaded with the "Xtract PackMan" function at the Message Action prompt. The Packman function "INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE" is then used to install the backed up routines onto the VistA System.
