APPLICATION/VERSION PATCH --------------------------------------------------------------- OUTPATIENT PHARMACY v7.0 PSO*7.0*753 CMOP v2.0 PSX*2.0*98 Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) Consolidated Mail Order Pharmacy (CMOP) patch PSX*2.0*98 is being released to provide the ability to select on an individual basis, whether a prescription in the PRESCRIPTION (#52) file should be filled locally or be filled through CMOP. Current system capability is that the mail preferences (window only, regular including CMOP, certified including CMOP, regular local only, certified local only) are a patient level property stored in the PHARMACY PATIENT (#55) file. This enhancement retains the same baseline capability of the PHARMACY PATIENT file as it exists now, and additionally offers an exemption at the prescription level as an exception to the baseline. This patch PSX*2*98 has the following enhancements: 1. The CMOP functionality for prescriptions is being modified such that a check will be made to the PRESCRIPTION file to see if a MAIL EXEMPTION has been entered. If not, the PHARMACY PATIENT file will be checked for a patient's MAIL preference.
