============================================================================= Run Date: AUG 08, 2024 Designation: PX*1*238 Package : PX - PCE PATIENT CARE ENCOUNTER Priority: Mandatory Version : 1 SEQ #181 Status: Released Compliance Date: SEP 08, 2024 ============================================================================= Associated patches: (v)PX*1*211 <<= must be installed BEFORE `PX*1*238' Subject: PCE DELETION FIXES Category: - Routine Description: ============ This patch is part of a multi-package build. Below is a list of all the applications involved in this build along with their patch numbers: APPLICATION/VERSION PATCH --------------------------------------------------------------- PCE PATIENT CARE ENCOUNTER v1.0 PX*1.0*238 TEXT INTEGRATION UTILITIES v1.0 TIU*1.0*362 ORDER ENTRY/RESULTS REPORTING v3.0 OR*3.0*606 This patch makes the following changes: 1. Releases the following APIs: a) an enhanced PCE encounter lookup API, FINDVISIT^PXUTLVST (ICR 7435); b) two APIs to return data from the Visit (#9000010) file, GETFIELDS^PXAAVSIT and GETFIELD^PXAAVSIT (ICR 3048). 2. When DATA2PCE is called without passing a VISIT IEN, it calls LOOKVSIT^PXUTLVST to see if there is an existing Visit that matches the encounter passed in. There is an issue with LOOKVSIT where it can match to a Visit with a different Service Category. This patch updates DATA2PCE to use the enhanced PCE encounter lookup API (FINDVISIT^PXUTLVST). The enhanced API will only match a Visit if the Service Category matches, and is also much quicker.
