PX*1*211 test sites report many missing VISIT field pointers and missing primary provider designation on the encounters. The new PCE patch introduces two new return values of '-4' and '-5'. A '-5' is warnings only associated with service connection data. Resolution A: ------------- Routine RAPCE is updated to check for the new return values and file the VISIT pointer accordingly. Also, the primary interpreting physician will be passed to PCE as both the encounter provider and the primary provider. Problem B: ---------- The National Imaging Informatics Committee (NIIC) approved the following new radiology cancel and hold reasons: Cancellation Reasons: REASON SYNONYM ----------------------------------------- -------------------- IMPORT REQUEST OBSOLETE BY POLICY IMPORT OBSOLETE IMPORT INSUFFICIENT JUSTIFICATION JUSTIFICATION IMPORT INCORRECT DESIRED DATE ENTERED INC DD ENTERED PER RADIOLOGIST - NOT CLINICALLY INDICATED PER RAD NOT CLIN IND PATIENT ALREADY SCREENED PT ALREADY SCREENED PER POLICY - RESCHED ATTEMPTS PER POL R/S ATTEMPT TEST PATIENT/ACCOUNT TEST PT Hold Reasons: REASON SYNONYM ----------------------------------------- -------------------- PATIENT NOT PREPPED - RESCHEDULE PT NOT PREP - R/S REGISTERED IN ERROR - RESCHEDULE REG ERROR - R/S WALK IN - REGISTERED IN ERROR WALK IN REG ERROR Resolution B: ------------- A Post-Init routine will add these ten new cancel / hold reasons to the RAD/NUC MED REASON file (#75.2). A national help desk ticket should be logged before attempting any backout procedures. Prior to installing an updated KIDS package, the site/region should have saved a backup of the routines in a mail message using the Backup a Transport Global [XPD BACKUP] menu option (this is done at time of install). The message containing the backed up routines can be loaded with the "Xtract PackMan" function at the Message Action prompt.
