$TXT Created by DEVRAD.DOMAIN.EXT (KIDS) on Thursday, 08/27/20 at 13:39 ============================================================================= Run Date: OCT 14, 2020 Designation: RA*5*160 Package : RA - RADIOLOGY/NUCLEAR MEDICINE Priority: Mandatory Version : 5 SEQ #154 Status: Released Compliance Date: NOV 14, 2020 ============================================================================= Associated patches: (v)RA*5*28 <<= must be installed BEFORE `RA*5*160' Subject: RA MASS OVERRIDE TO COMPLETE ALL EXAMS THROUGH 12/31/2008 Category: - Routine - Data Dictionary - Other Description: ============ This patch addresses the following issues (in the chronological in which they're addressed): Issue One ========= The RAD/NUM MED PATIENT (#70) file has a database issue that prevents the rebuilding on the "AR" and "B" cross references on the EXAM DATE (70.02;.01) field in the file 70 database. Resolution One ============== Check every patient record in file 70 to rebuild missing ^RADPT(RADFN,"DT",0) nodes. Note: This task, Task A, will begin immediately after the installation of RA*5.0*160. Issue Two ========= The "AR" and "B" cross reference on the EXAM DATE (#70.02) .01 field on the RAD/NUC MED PATIENT (#70) file does not always exist when data is filed in the EXAM DATE field. Resolution Two ============== Use VA FileMan utilities to rebuild the "AR" and "B" cross references. Note: This task, Task B, starts one hour after Task A. Issue Three =========== Radiology studies prior to January 1st, 2009 remain on the 'Incomplete Exam' report. Resolution Three ================ VistA Radiology/Nuclear Medicine (RIS), tasked to close out old studies before the move to Cerner, will update the status of all active radiology studies registered prior to January 1st, 2009 to an examination status of 'Complete'. All associated radiology and CPRS orders will be updated to 'Complete'. RIS reports, if tied to the incomplete studies described above, will not be altered. Note: This task, Task C, starts one hour after Task B and two hours after Task A. A new option is exported as an item under the RA SITEMANAGER menu. That option is 'Exams Overridden to 'Complete' per Directive' [RA OVERRIDE REPORT]. 'RA OVERRIDE REPORT' generates a report which displays all the radiology studies overridden to 'Complete' by radiology patch RA*5.0*160. The user can select the date range. A new field is created to identify exams overridden to 'Complete'. The field AUTO OVERRIDE (#5) has been added to the ACTIVITY LOG (#70.07) sub-file data dictionary. Other VISTA users will not be affected. Note: There is an environment check routine associated with this patch: RAIENV160. RAIENV160 checks that a NEW PERSON (#200) file record with a IEN of .5 exists. POSTMASTER should be the record with that IEN but a site does exist that has more than one record of POSTMASTER. If a record in file #200 with an IEN of .5 is not found, RA*5.0*160 will not be installed. Install Time - less than two minutes 1.
