$TXT Created by at DEVRAD.DOMAIN.EXT (KIDS) on Thursday, 09/03/20 at 11:19 ============================================================================= Run Date: OCT 28, 2020 Designation: RA*5*173 Package : RA - RADIOLOGY/NUCLEAR MEDICINE Priority: Mandatory Version : 5 SEQ #155 Status: Released Compliance Date: NOV 30, 2020 ============================================================================= Associated patches: (v)RA*5*25 <<= must be installed BEFORE `RA*5*173' (v)RA*5*162 <<= must be installed BEFORE `RA*5*173' Subject: MISCELLANEOUS BUG FIXES Category: - Routine Description: ============ Problem A: ---------- Routing logic was not updated for radiology HL7 version 2.4. The division lookup fails due to being changed from field OBR-20 to OBR-21. Additionally, a non-standard component separator is used in version 2.4. An undefined error is seen in version 2.4 when the MAGD SEND ORM subscriber is in use due to the HL array being killed. RADIV+5^RAHLROUT *HL("FS") Resolution A: ------------- Routine RAHLROUT is updated to accommodate radiology HL7 v2.4 and lower versions. Problem B: ---------- When unverifying a report, the lookup fails in RARTE1 when report IEN happens to also match a case number. Resolution B: ------------- The lookup in UNVER^RARTE1 for the report IEN is updated to pass the value as an IEN only. Problem C: ---------- A new drug was added for radiopharmaceutical use, but it doesn't show up in the summary section of the Radiopharmaceutical Usage Report [RA NM RADIOPHARM USAGE]. Resolution C: ------------- The new drug name happens to start with the letter 'A' (AXUMIN) and in routine RANMUSE3, the variable RA2 used to order through the data but it has left over data from a calling routine, and so the order logic skips the new drug starting with letter 'A'. Variable RA2 is cleared of data prior to reusing it to order through the summary data for display. Problem D: ---------- Virtual Patient Record (VPR) package uses EN30^RAO7PC1 (supported by Database Integration Agreement (DBIA) #2266) to retrieve narrative text for exams. They report an undefined error during a data pull due to missing clinical history on the exam. CHKDUPHX+15^RART1 ^RARPT(320,"H",0,0) Resolution D: ------------- Routine RART1 is updated to check for existing clinical history data on the exam and bypass the duplicate check if it doesn't exist. If there is existing [additional] clinical history on the report, it will be retrieved. This patch should take less than 5 minutes to install. The following menu option should be disabled: Radiopharmaceutical Usage Report [RA NM RADIOPHARM USAGE] =================== Installation Instructions ==================== 1. Choose the PackMan message containing this build. Then select the INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE PackMan option to load the build. 2. From the Kernel Installation and Distribution System Menu, select the Installation Menu. From this menu, A. Select the Verify Checksums in Transport Global option to confirm the integrity of the routines that are in the transport global. When prompted for the INSTALL NAME enter RA*5.0*173. B. Select the Backup a Transport Global option to create a backup message. You must use this option for each patch contained in the Host File. For each patch you can specify what to backup; the entire Build or just Routines. The backup message can be used to restore just the routines or everything that will restore your system to pre-patch condition. C. You may also elect to use the following options: i. Print Transport Global - This option will allow you to view the components of the KIDS build. ii. Compare Transport Global to Current System - This option will allow you to view all changes that will be made when this patch is installed. It compares all of the components of this patch, such as routines, DDs, templates, etc. D. Select the Install Package(s) option and choose the patch to install. i. If prompted 'Want KIDS to Rebuild Menu Trees Upon Completion of Install? NO//', answer NO. ii. When prompted 'Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the install? NO//', answer NO. iii. When prompted 'Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu Options, and Protocols? YES//', answer YES. a. When prompted 'Enter options you wish to mark as 'Out Of Order':', select the following option: Option Name Menu Text ----------- --------- RA NM RADIOPHARM USAGE Radiopharmaceutical Usage Report Press the Enter key when you are done selecting options. b. When prompted 'Enter protocols you wish to mark as 'Out Of Order':', press the Enter key. Back-Out/Roll Back Plan: ------------------------ Back-out will be done only with the concurrence and participation of development team and appropriate VA site/region personnel. The decision to back-out or rollback software will be a joint decision between development team, VA site/region personnel and other appropriate VA personnel. A national help desk ticket should be logged before attempting any backout procedures. Prior to installing an updated KIDS package, the site/region should have saved a backup of the routines in a mail message using the Backup a Transport Global [XPD BACKUP] menu option (this is done at time of install). The message containing the backed up routines can be loaded with the "Xtract PackMan" function at the Message Action prompt. The Packman function "INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE" is then used to install the backed up routines onto the VistA System.
