These justifications were deployed with radiology patch RA*5*148 and are presented to the user when referring a radiology order to community care. Resolution A: ------------- The new justifications will be applied to the radiology option for referring radiology orders to Community Care. The new justifications are: - Wait Time: VA appointment is greater than wait time standard - Service Not Available: VA facility does not provide the required service - Drive Time: Veteran lives more than drive time standards - Grandfathered - Hardship - No Full Service VHA Facility - 1703(e) Eligibility - Best medical interest of Veteran (per Licensed Independent Provider only) Problem B: ---------- The Community Care Consult referral option for radiology orders relies on the order having an imaging location defined. Sites with the radiology divisional parameter 'Ask Imaging Location?' set to NO are able to submit orders without an imaging location causing the referral to fail. Resolution B: ------------- The option logic will be updated to do the following if the order does not have an imaging location: -Use the Imaging Type and User's Division to determine an appropriate location with a CCC defined. -If that fails, prompt the user to choose from a list of applicable locations. -Exit gracefully if no imaging location is obtained. Problem C: ---------- The orderable item lookup assumes there will never be a partial match. If a partial match occurs, the lookup will fail with this error: MAKECONS+31^RAORDR1 Resolution C: ------------- The orderable item lookup is modified to accommodate partial matches and find the correct entry. Back-Out/Roll Back Plan: ------------------------ Back-out will be done only with the concurrence and participation of development team and appropriate VA site/region personnel. The decision to back-out or rollback software will be a joint decision between development team, VA site/region personnel and other appropriate VA personnel. A national help desk ticket should be logged before attempting any backout procedures. Prior to installing an updated KIDS package, the site/region should have saved a backup of the routines in a mail message using the Backup a Transport Global [XPD BACKUP] menu option (this is done at time of install). The message containing the backed up routines can be loaded with the "Xtract PackMan" function at the Message Action prompt. The Packman function "INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE" is then used to install the backed up routines onto the VistA System.
