$TXT Created by DEVRAD.DOMAIN.EXT (KIDS) on Thursday, 08/26/21 at 15:18 ============================================================================= Run Date: SEP 23, 2021 Designation: RA*5*183 Package : RA - RADIOLOGY/NUCLEAR MEDICINE Priority: Mandatory Version : 5 SEQ #164 Status: Released Compliance Date: OCT 25, 2021 ============================================================================= Associated patches: (v)RA*5*86 <<= must be installed BEFORE `RA*5*183' (v)RA*5*133 <<= must be installed BEFORE `RA*5*183' Subject: RA PROCEDURE NAME EDIT, LABEL PRINT FIELDS UPDATE, MISC Category: - Routine - Data Dictionary Description: ============ RA*5.0*183 addresses three issues: Issue 1 ------- Users can edit the name of a RAD/NUC MED PROCEDURE record. This has led to confusion when referencing past and present studies. Resolution 1 ------------ After the installation of RA*5.0*183 the NAME (#.01) field of the RAD/NUC MED PROCEDURES (#71) will be audited. Whenever a radiology procedure name is added or edited the following data will be filed: - The prior name - The new name - The user who made the change - The date/time of the change INC18770359 / HITPS-8037 (Salem, VA) Issue 2 ------- Many sites print labels and flash cards on specific printers using Class III modifications placed in the compiled logic field of Radiology print formats (LBL/HDR/FTR FORMATS File Number 78.2) entries. The option 'Label/Header/Footer Formatter' [RA FLASHFORM] re-compiles print label and flash card formats which removes all Class III local modifications. Resolution 2 ------------ The 'Label/Header/Footer Formatter' option will be edited to include a general warning that all Class III modifications will be removed during re-compilation. NSR 20201109 (Muskogee, OK) Issue 3 ------- Before the installation of RA*5.0*183 users chose the 'Request an Exam' [RA ORDEREXAM] option, they are asked to enter the person requesting the order. The lookup allows for multiple indexes to be searched which may result in unexpected return values depending on the input from the user. Resolution 3 ------------ After the installation of RA*5.0*183 the VA FileMan lookup flag was changed to only search the top-level, name dedicated 'B' cross-reference which returns only requester names.
