If that location has been removed from the Rad/Nuc Med Division, a hard quit is encountered, and the user's VistA session is terminated. Resolution: ----------- Routine RAPSET is modified to re-prompt the user for the sign-on location and the error message is updated to indicate the location's missing division. The VistA session is not terminated. Problem: -------- When the 'Location Parameter Set-up' [RA SYSLOC] option is used to Inactivate an Imaging Location (I-LOC), the associated Occasion of Service (OOS) clinic is not set to inactive. While the clinic will no longer capture workload as long as the I-LOC is inactive, the clinic shows up on hospital administration reports as active and causes confusion. The OOS clinic cannot be inactivated using traditional (scheduling clinic) options, therefore, someone with Fileman write access must set the inactivation date field. Using Fileman to edit data fields is always risky and should only be used when no menu option is available. Resolution: ----------- A new menu option has been created called 'Inactivate a Location' [RA SYSINACT]. This new option resides on the 'System Definition' [RA SYSDEF] parent menu. This option will check the status of both the selected Imaging Location and associated OOS clinic (ACTIVE or INACTIVE). The user will be prompted to enter the date for inactivation. The option will then apply that inactive date to both the I-LOC and OOS clinic. If your I-LOC is already inactive, but the OOS clinic is not, you can use this option to set the OOS clinic's inactive date to match the I-LOC. Problem: -------- The 'Outside Report Entry/Edit' [RA OUTSIDE RPTENTRY] option allows exams registered to credit (in-house) locations to be selected. This has caused issues at sites where the wrong accession was entered, and an in-house exam was selected instead of one from Community Care. Once the outside report is entered, it drops off the radiologist unread list and the procedure does not get read. As these will not show up on the Incomplete Exam list either, they will fall through the cracks unless someone catches it. This was reported as a potential Patient Safety issue. Resolution: ----------- Routine RARTE5 is modified to add a warning based on the credit method of the selected registered exam. If the credit method is anything other than NO CREDIT (2), a warning will be displayed to the screen. The user will be prompted to continue, or they can exit the option if the wrong case was selected. Problem: -------- Sites report an intermittent error when running the 'Physician wRVU Report by CPT' [RA WKLIPHY WRVU]. This subscript error SETARRY+45^RAWKLU2 is due to some CPT code RVU values not being updated properly with the last Fee Basis (FB) patch FB*3.5*184. Radiology expects the entry to always have a WORK RELATIVE VALUE UNIT (wRVU)value in the FEE BASIS CPT RVU (#162.97) file. Zero (0) should be there if no wRVU applies. Resolution: ----------- Routine RAWKLU2 is modified to handle a NULL wRVU value returned from the FEE BASIS CPT RVU file. NULL values will now resolve to zero (0). Additionally, a Fee Basis patch will be released to correct the data that was not fully populated with patch FB*3.5*184. Note that until the new FB patch is released, some wRVUs may incorrectly show zero on the Physician wRVU Reports. The decision to back-out or rollback software will be a joint decision between development team, VA site/region personnel and other appropriate VA personnel. A national help desk ticket should be logged before attempting any backout procedures. Prior to installing an updated KIDS package, the site/region should have saved a backup of the routines in a mail message using the Backup a Transport Global [XPD BACKUP] menu option (this is done at time of install). The message containing the backed up routines can be loaded with the "Xtract PackMan" function at the Message Action prompt. The Packman function "INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE" is then used to install the backed up routines onto the VistA System. If the new backup build option was used, after Xtracting the patch message use the KIDS Installation menu and enter RA*5.0*184b at the INSTALL NAME prompt.
