INC24158987 - Active and inactive imaging locations showing up on pending/hold report Problem 1A: ----------- The Pending/Hold Rad/Nuc Med Request Log [RA ORDERPENDING] option currently allows the user to select all the imaging locations for this report, even inactive locations. There is no easy way to identify which locations are inactive when presenting them to the user. Resolution 1A: -------------- After the installation of RA*5.0*194 the Pending/Hold Rad/Nuc Med Request Log [RA ORDERPENDING] option will allow the user holding the RA ALLOC key to select all the imaging locations for this report, even inactive locations. The inactive locations will be clearly identified presenting them to the user. Users who do not hold the RA ALLOC key can only select active imaging locations. Problem 1B: ----------- The Log of Scheduled Requests by Procedure [RA ORDERLOG] option currently displays all the imaging locations which match the imaging type (i-type) of the user's sign-on location. All the like i-type imaging locations, active and inactive, will be displayed to the user. The inactive locations are not clearly identified. Resolution 1B: -------------- After the installation of RA*5.0*194 the Scheduled Requests by Procedure [RA ORDERLOG] option will display all matching i-type active and inactive imaging locations to users holding the RA ALLOC key. The inactive imaging locations will be clearly identified. Those users who do not hold the RA ALLOC key will see only those matching i-type active imaging locations. 2. INC24358650 - When creating a new AMIS code it cannot be applied to older procedures Problem 2: ---------- The Procedure Enter/Edit [RA PROCEDURE] option allows the user to edit an existing radiology procedure to add/edit/delete an AMIS code. If the procedure is a general radiology or nuclear medicine procedure the user will be allowed to add/edit by selecting one of the original twenty-seven AMIS codes. Resolution 2: ------------- After the installation of RA*5.0*194 the Procedure Enter/Edit [RA PROCEDURE] option allows the add/edit/deletion of all the twenty-seven original AMIS codes and any newly added AMIS codes to new or existing radiology procedures regardless of i-type. Back-Out/Roll Back Plan: ------------------------ Back-out will be done only with the concurrence and participation of development team and appropriate VA site/region personnel. The decision to back-out or rollback software will be a joint decision between development team, VA site/region personnel and other appropriate VA personnel. Because this patch contains Data Dictionary changes, back-out must be done with the participation of the sustainment team. A national help desk ticket should be logged before attempting any backout procedures. Prior to installing an updated KIDS package, the site/region should have saved a backup of the routines in a mail message using the Backup a Transport Global [XPD BACKUP] menu option (this is done at time of install). The message containing the backed up routines can be loaded with the "Xtract PackMan" function at the Message Action prompt. The Packman function "INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE" is then used to install the backed up routines onto the VistA System. If the new backup build option was used, after Xtracting the patch message use the KIDS Installation menu and enter RA*5.0*194b at the INSTALL NAME prompt. Validation of Back-out Procedure -------------------------------- The Back-out Procedure can be verified by printing the first 2 lines of the routines contained in this patch using the option First Line Routine Print [XU FIRST LINE PRINT]. Once the routines contained in the RA*5.0*194 patch have been backed out, the first two lines of the routines will no longer contain the designation of this patch in the patch list section on line 2.
