Description:

 In 2019, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) removed the 
 Functional Independence Measure (FIM) from the Inpatient Rehabilitation 
 Facility Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI) and replaced it with 
 Functional Abilities and Goals - Self-Care and Mobility (Section GG). On 
 October 31, 2024, the VA license for the FIM tool expired, resulting in 
 the inability for Rehab staff to continue use of the tool. A future patch 
 will be released to formally decommission the application.
  
 Patch installers are directed to:
