$TXT Created by T at CLE623.FO-BAYPINES.DOMAIN.EXT (KIDS) on Tuesday, 04/09/24 at 08:20 ============================================================================= Run Date: NOV 25, 2025 Designation: RMPR*3*215 Package : RMPR - PROSTHETICS Priority: Mandatory Version : 3 SEQ #191 Status: Released Compliance Date: DEC 26, 2025 ============================================================================= Associated patches: (v)RMPR*3*80 <<= must be installed BEFORE `RMPR*3*215' (v)RMPR*3*212 <<= must be installed BEFORE `RMPR*3*215' Subject: CANCELLED/DISCONTINUED ORDERS IN SUSPENSE RECORD Category: - Routine Description: ============ Note: While this patch is being released nationally, the feature described below is restricted to sites that have been converted to Millennium. Because the patch is being installed at all sites, the cancelled/discontinued orders feature will be automatically enabled at sites when they are converted. When a Prosthetics order is discontinued in Cerner (Power Chart), the status of the order in VistA Prosthetics is set to CANCELLED. Prior to this patch, the Suspense Processing [RMPR SUSP MENU] option of the Menu for Suspense Options [RMPR SUSPENSE MENU] did not display cancelled requests. This causes confusion and may result in items being distributed to Veterans inappropriately. RMPR*3*215 removes the filter so that cancelled orders now appear on the suspense processing menu. The patch also disables several menu options that should not be available for cancelled orders. These are: 1) Post Complete 2) Post Initial Action 3) Post Other 4) Clone CPRS 5) Edit Suspense 6) Cancel Request 7) Forward Consult If the user selects any of these seven options and then selects a cancelled order, ACTION NOT AVAILABLE FOR CANCELLED REQUEST is displayed and the action is not executed. Use of three other options is not restricted. 1) View Request 2) CPRS Display 3) Print Consult The remaining five options are not order specific and so are not affected. 1) Change Patient 2) Add Manual 3) Auto Adaptive 4) Clothing Allowance 5) Display 2319 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ EHRM Impact Statement: ---------------------- This patch has EHRM impact. Post-Installation Instructions: None Back-Out/Roll Back Plan: ------------------------ Back-out will be done only with the concurrence and participation of development team and appropriate VA site/region personnel. The decision to back-out or rollback software will be a joint decision between development team, VA site/region personnel and other appropriate VA personnel. Prior to installing an updated KIDS package, the site/region should have saved a backup of the routines in a mail message using the Backup a Transport Global [XPD BACKUP] menu option (this is done at time of install). The message containing backed-up routines can be loaded with the "Xtract PackMan" function at the Message Action prompt. The Packman function "INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE" is then used to install the backed up routines onto the VistA System. The back-out plan is to restore the routine from the backup created. No data was modified by this patch.
