Resolution: ----------- The requested Fiscal Year 2014 updates were submitted by the DSO to be implemented effective October 1, 2013. Post-init routine SD53FY14 updates the CLINIC STOP file (#40.7) by adding seven (7) new stop codes, inactivating two (2) stop codes, and changing the name and restriction type for one (1) stop codes. A total of 10 stop codes are being updated with this patch. From the Kernel Installation & Distribution System menu, select the Installation menu. 3. From this menu, you may select the following options: (when prompted for INSTALL NAME, enter SD*5.3*608) a. Backup a Transport Global - this option will create a backup message of any routines exported with the patch. It will NOT backup any other changes such as DDs or templates. b. Compare Transport Global to Current System - this option will allow you to view all changes that will be made when the patch is installed. It compares all components of the patch (routines, DDs, templates, etc.). c. Verify Checksums in Transport Global - this option will ensure the integrity of the routines that are in the transport global. 4. Use the Install Package(s) option and select the package SD*5.3*608. 5. When prompted "Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the install? NO//" respond NO. 6. When prompted "Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu Options, and Protocols? NO//" respond NO. 7. If an error is received during install, please contact your IRM for additional support. 8. The routine SD53FY14 can be removed from your production and test system after the patch has been successfully installed. NOTE: Details of the changes applied by this patch are provided during the installation and may also be reviewed with the Install File Print option on the Utilities menu on the Kernel Installation and Distribution System menu. It is important to check the CLINIC STOP (#40.7) file post installation to make sure that all of the updates are correctly reflected in the CLINIC STOP file (#40.7).
