PCMM no longer performs any Health Level Seven (HL7) messaging. It will also delete any data in the PCMM HL7 EVENT (#404.48) file. Although the data dictionaries for the listed files will be modified, no files are included in the patch. The post-install routine will delete the cross-references and indexes. The entry points in routine SCMCHLX called by the cross-references and indexes were also modified to exit immediately. Choose the PackMan message containing this patch. 2. Choose the INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE PackMan option. 3. From the Kernel Installation and Distribution System Menu, select the Installation Menu. During the VistA Installation Procedure of the KIDS build, the installer should back up the modified routines by the use of the 'Backup a Transport Global' action (step 3d in the Installation Instructions above). If rollback/backout is required, the installer can restore the routines using the MailMan message that was saved prior to installing the patch. This patch will delete cross references and indexes detailed above. If for some reason, they need to be restored, a follow-on patch will be required. This patch also deletes records in the PCMM HL7 EVENT (#404.48) file. There should be no need to restore these records. HL7 is no longer used by PCMM.
