 This patch addresses the following issue(s):
  
 1. An undefined error occurs when running the Edit Computer
 Generated Appointment Type [SDACS CGEDIT] option. This error
 occurs because the OUTPATIENT ENCOUNTER (#409.68) file entry 
 is missing the PATIENT (#.02) field.
  
 2. The Edit Computer Generated Appointment Type [SDACS CGEDIT]
 option does not contain the necessary patient information for
 the affected end user (AEU) to determine the appointment type

 An undefined error occurs when running the Edit Computer Generated
 Appointment Type [SDACS CGEDIT] option. This error occurs because
 the OUTPATIENT ENCOUNTER (#409.68) file entry is missing the

 Routine SDACSCG was modified to ignore records that are missing the
 PATIENT (#.02) field. These are not valid records since the PATIENT
 (#.02) field is required for the OUTPATIENT ENCOUNTER (#409.68) file.
  
 2.  INC3173455 - Issue with Computer Generated Error Report
  
 Problem:
 --------
 The Edit Computer Generated Appointment Type [SDACS CGEDIT] option
 does not contain the necessary patient information for the affected
 end user (AEU) to determine the appointment type for computer generated
 appointments.
  
 Resolution:
 -----------
 Routine SDACSCG was modified to add the information requested by the
 AEU(s) needed to determine the appointment type for computer generated
 appointments. These entry fields include the division, clinic location,
 stop code, service connected, rated disability information, primary
 eligibility, secondary eligibility, and current eligibility for the
 encounter.

 Pre-Installation Instructions:
 This patch may be installed with users on the system although it is
 recommended that it be installed during non-peak hours to minimize
 potential disruption to users.  This patch should take less than 5 minutes
 to install.
  
 Installation Instructions:
  
    1. Choose the PackMan message containing this patch and invoke the
       INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE PackMan option.  
   
    2. From the Kernel Installation & Distribution System menu, select 
       the Installation menu.  
   
    3. From this menu, you may select to use the following options: 
       (when prompted for INSTALL NAME, enter SD*5.3*721)
   
         a.  Verify Checksums in Transport Global - This option will allow
             you to ensure the integrity of the routines that are in the
             transport global.
         b.  Print Transport Global - This option will allow you to view
             the components of the KIDS build.
         c.  Compare Transport Global to Current System - This option will
             allow you to view all changes that will be made when this 
             patch is installed.  It compares all components of this patch
             (routines, DD's, templates, etc.).
         d.  Backup a Transport Global - This option will create a backup
             message of any routines exported with this patch. It will not
             backup any other changes such as DD's or templates.
   
    4. Use the Install Package(s) option and select the package 
       SD*5.3*721.
   
    5. When Prompted "Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the install? 
       NO//", hit enter.  
  
    6. When prompted 'Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options and Menu
       Options and Protocols? YES//', answer YES.
  
       When prompted, 'Enter options you wish to mark as 'Out Of Order':',
       enter:
  
            Edit Computer Generated Appointment Type  [SDACS CGEDIT]
       
       When prompted, 'Enter protocols you wish to mark as 'Out of 
       Order':', enter: <ENTER>.

 Prior to installing the updated KIDS package, the site/region should have 
 saved a backup of the routines in a mail message using the Backup a 
 Transport Global [XPD BACKUP] menu option.  The message containing the 
 backed up routines can be loaded with the "Xtract PackMan" function at 
 the Message Action prompt.  The PackMan function INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE is 
 then used to install the backed up routines onto the VistA system.
