$TXT Created by VISTA-LOAD-AITC-6.AAC.DOMAIN.EXT (KIDS) on Monday, 08/26/19 at 07:32 ============================================================================= Run Date: NOV 05, 2019 Designation: SD*5.3*730 Package : SD - SCHEDULING Priority: EMERGENCY Version : 5.3 SEQ #591 Status: Released Compliance Date: NOV 15, 2019 ============================================================================= Associated patches: (v)SD*5.3*707 <<= must be installed BEFORE `SD*5.3*730' Subject: SD GMRC ENHANCEMENT FOR COMM CARE SCHEDULING Category: - Routine Description: ============ The Community Care Referrals and Authorizations (CCR&A) application is an enterprise-wide system used by Community Care (CC) staff to automatically generate referrals and authorizations for all Veterans receiving care in the community. Clinical and VA CC staff located at VA Medical Centers, Outpatient Clinics, Community Based Outpatient Clinics, and VISN offices use this application. The CCR&A solution is an integral component of the VA Community Care Information Technology (IT) architecture that allows Veterans to receive care from Community Providers. The VA Imaging project has created specific community care consult titles with matching non-count clinics. When an appointment is being made thru the HealthShare Referral Manager (HSRM), in order to update VistA with the appointment information, this patch uses the consult title in the consult to lookup the correct clinic to schedule the appointment for. This patch introduces code and table that is used to match the imaging consults to the correct clinic name. This patch will also set the AUTO START flag for the CCRA-NAK HL Logical Link to Yes. This link must be started in order for the HL7 Non Acknowledgement (NAK) message to be returned to HSRM if an appointment action can't be completed. The NAK message has the error condition that prevented the scheduling action from updating VistA. When an NAK message for a scheduling action is received by HSRM it triggers a task in HSRM to notify the user that there was a problem with filing the action on VistA.
