INC10953106 - Deactivation of the VistA Electronic Wait List (EWL) software application Problem: -------- Veterans Health Administration (VHA) has requested that all facilities inactivate their clinic EWLs by 11/30/2020. It is requested that the EWL be deactivated on 12/1/2020 to ensure no facility is using the software. There will be a national initiative to deactivate the software. This initiative has a high priority, per VHA leadership, to be completed by 12/1/2020. Resolution: ----------- This patch handles phase 1 of the (EWL) decommission. The patch marks the Enter/Edit Wait List (Sch/PCMM) [SD WAIT LIST ENTER/EDIT] menu option Out of Order, and marks the Wait List Entry [SD WAIT LIST ENTRY protocol disabled, ahead of the full Electronic Wait List (EWL) decommission which will be included in phase 2, Scheduling patch, SD*5.3*769.
