$TXT Created by HOMAS at MNTVBB.DOMAIN.EXT (KIDS) on Monday, 04/29/24 at 13:26 ============================================================================= Run Date: NOV 06, 2024 Designation: SD*5.3*854 Package : SD - SCHEDULING Priority: Mandatory Version : 5.3 SEQ #742 Status: Released Compliance Date: DEC 06, 2024 ============================================================================= Associated patches: (v)SD*5.3*603 <<= must be installed BEFORE `SD*5.3*854' Subject: CPRS PCMM ICN DISPLAY UPDATES Category: - Routine Description: ============ This patch will modify the current Primary Care Management Module (PCMM) messages in Consolidated Patient Record System (CPRS) to better communicate patient assignments. A secondary query from VistA to PCMM will be added to reflect all known Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) assignments. If the original request for details using the VistA Patient File Number ( DFN) and Station ID (sta3n) from PCMM results in no PACT assignments. A secondary query will use the Integration Control Number (ICN) instead of DFN to find assignments. Any positive results from the secondary query using the ICN would be any remote assignments. The remote assignments found in PCMM will be added to the Outpatient Profile File (#404.41), CPRS PC WINDOW CACHE Field (#.07), and displayed in the CPRS PCMM Details Popup window. If the secondary query using the ICN does not return results, then "no remote assignments" will be added to the Outpatient Profile, file (#404.41), CPRS PC WINDOW CACHE Field (#.07) and displayed in the CPRS PCMM Details Popup. The CPRS PCMM HEADER and the CPRS PCMM DETAIL Popup window display message will be changed to better reflect no PACT assignments. If there are no results from the secondary query. The CPRS PCMM Header currently displays the message "No PACT assigned at any VA location". This default information comes from routine SCMCSW1 and will be changed to "No PACT assigned at this VA location", and stored in the Outpatient Profile File (#404.41), CPRS HEADER Field (#.06) for CPRS HEADER display. The CPRS PCMM Details popup will reflect "There is no local or remote assignment for this patient at this time. Please contact local PCMM Coordinator to review." and stored in the Outpatient Profile File (#404.41), CPRS PC WINDOW CACHE Field (#.07), for CPRS PCMM Details popup display. INC27464786 PCMM R1 - (POR) Sta. 648 CPRS Banner Shows "No PACT assigned at any location" but JLV shows Assigned PCP in Eugene. Problem: ------------- In some cases not all available remote Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) information is displayed in CPRS PCMM details popup. When CPRS uses the DFN for pact assignment lookup and the DFN is not known by PCMM in the current site providing care; remote assignments may not be available to the site. There is no process in place to display remote site PACT assignments in the CPRS PCMM DETAILS display when a patient is not assigned at the current site. A secondary query is needed to PCMM from VistA if a DFN and Station ID search from PCMM does not return pact information. At this point a second query from VistA to PCMM using the ICN needs to happen to reflect remote PACT assignments. Resolution ---------- Add code to Vista to reach out to PCMM if a DFN search fail send a second query to PCMM using the Current ICN associated with the patient and check for assignments using the ICN. Display it in the CPRS PCMM DETAILS popup window even if there are no local assignments. Add code to verify the secondary query was used to check for remote assignments and then display the No Remote assignment in the CPRS Details popup. 2. PCMMW-182 CPRS banner language to better reflect PACT assignments Problem: -------- The CPRS, PCMM Header is not displaying a clear messages to reflect what is desired. The CPRS, PCMM Header currently displays the message "No PACT assigned at any VA location". Resolution ---------- Changed messages in Vista routines to reflect reguested changes. We changed banner to ""No PACT assigned at this VA location"(Click for more)". Test Sites: ----------- Memphis VA Medical Center (Memphis, TN) VA Montana Health Care System (Ft. The decision to back-out or rollback software will be a joint decision between development team, VA site/region personnel and other appropriate VA personnel. Prior to installing an updated KIDS package, the installer should have saved a backup of the routine in a mail message using the Backup a Transport Global [XPD BACKUP] menu option from the Kernel Installation and Distribution System Menu and selecting the Installation Menu. The back-out plan is to restore the routine from the backup created. The message containing the backed-up routine can be loaded with the "Xtract PackMan" function at the Message Action prompt. The Packman function "INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE" is then used to install the backed up routine onto the VistA System. If the patch was backed up for the build, from the Kernel Installation and Distribution System Menu, select the Installation Menu. Select the Install Package(s) option and choose the patch (SD*5.3*854b) to install. No data was modified by this patch installation; therefore, no rollback strategy is required.
