Resolution: The SDESUTIL and SDES2UTIL routines were updated to fix a bug in the calculation of the start date of Daylight Savings Time. 2) VSE-9464: VistA: GETSUB+5^SDES2UTIL When Conducting a Patient Search. Problem: When doing patient search and entering the last initial and last 4 incorrectly (IE "nEnnn") it is creating an error. We need to review the code to see why it would not handle it. We may need to add logic to check if the first character is a number and the entire is not a number, then return an error. Resolution: The validation logic for the patient search using the last initial and last 4 of the Social Security Number (SSN) was updated to prevent errors when the format entered unintentionally matched an exponential number format.
