The logic supporting the SDES2 CREATE APPOINTMENT RPC was updated to recognize the difference between the system time and the clinic time which allows for both walk-in appointments and the ability to no-show an appointment at the time of no-show. The SDES2 CREATE CLINIC AVAIL 2 RPC was updated to include the new AVAILABILITY("KEEP CANCELLED SLOTS") input parameter. The logic supporting this RPC was updated to prevent a blank availability date from being created when the user tries to remove availability for a date that did not have previous availability defined. The logic that determines the status of an appointment was updated to use the appropriate time zone offset for the clinic and not the system time zone (where the data is stored). Resolution: The logic supporting the SDES2 UNDO CHECKOUT Remote Procedure Call (RPC) was updated to prevent leaking variables from persisting in the symbol. 2) VSE-10431: VistA: When the clinic's day is outside of the system's day, the clinic is unable to create a walk-in appointment. Problem: An issue was identified with Guam clinics due to the fact that the clinic's time zone and the system time zone (where the data is stored) differ. This caused an issue where the clinics in Guam were unable to create a walk-in appointment. The clinics were also unable to no-show an appointment in a timely manner. Resolution: The logic supporting the SDES2 CREATE APPOINTMENT RPC was updated to recognize the difference between the system time and the clinic time which allows for both walk-in appointments and the ability to no-show an appointment at the time of no-show. 3) VSE-10501: VistA: When a user tries to remove availability for a date that doesn't have availability that the system creates a blank availability date for that date. Problem: An issue was uncovered when user tries to remove availability for a date that doesn't have availability that the system creates a blank availability date for that date. I also want to Modify SDES2 CREATE CLINIC AVAIL 2 to allow back dating up to two weeks in the past for Single day only. Resolution: The SDES2 CREATE CLINIC AVAIL 2 RPC was updated to include the new AVAILABILITY("KEEP CANCELLED SLOTS") input parameter. The logic supporting this RPC was updated to prevent a blank availability date from being created when the user tries to remove availability for a date that did not have previous availability defined. The logic was also updated to allow back dating up to two weeks in the past for Single day only. 4) VSE-10609: VistA: Determine and make the needed changes to base the status on the clinic's time. Problem: It has been reported that in GUAM the appointment status is erroneously calculating as future. Resolution: The logic that determines the status of an appointment was updated to use the appropriate time zone offset for the clinic and not the system time zone (where the data is stored).
