Problem: There are three global files that store appointment data. The current cancel logic quits out if the data causes an error; however, if an error occurs then the different files could be left out of sync. Logic is needed to back out the cancel of the first file(s) if the logic errors out after part of the appointment was cancelled. Resolution: The logic supporting the SDES2 CANCEL APPOINTMENT Remote Procedure Call (RPC) was updated to keep the three files that store the appointment in sync if an error is encountered during the cancellation of the appointment in any of the three files. 2) VSE-10912: VistA: Modify SDES2 CREATE APPOINTMENT to check the Patient file for existing appointment. Problem: The data structure of the patient appointment does not support two appointments with the same FileMan Appointment date and time. We need to prevent this from happening even if the two appointments are in different time zones. Resolution: The logic supporting the SDES2 CREATE APPOINTMENT RPC was updated to check the appointment time along with the clinic time zone to verify that the patient does not have another appointment scheduled at the same time before allowing the new appointment to be created. 3) VSE-10969: VistA: Update SDES2 CREATE CLIN AVAIL2 to correctly store availability that is sent in. Problem: An issue was found by Acheron while running test scripts with the SDES2 CREATE CLIN AVAIL2 RPC. A fix is needed to correctly store availability sent in. Resolution: The logic supporting the SDES2 CREATE CLIN AVAIL2 RPC was updated to correctly store the availability that was passed in from the front end applications. 4) VSE-10986: VistA: logic will fail and send the wrong offset on the date that daylight savings day ends. Problem: There is an issue with the current logic that defines whether a date is still in daylight savings time or not. On the first day of Standard time, the logic returns back that this day is still daylight saving time. Resolution: The logic supporting the determination of whether a date is on Daylight Savings Time (DST) or not was updated to correctly handle the day where the system rolls onto or off of DST. 5) VSE-11056: VistA: Modify SDES2 GET CLINICS BY STATION to return back all clinics that are associated to the parent station number sent in. Problem: Modify SDES2 GET CLINICS BY STATION to return back all clinics that are associated to the parent station number sent in (including the parent and all children). Resolution: The logic supporting the SDES2 GET CLINICS BY STATION RPC was updated to return back all clinics that are associated to the parent station number sent in (including the parent and all children).
