Problem: Need to create a Utility tool to help clean up MRTC Parents and Children that have data issue due to missing children link to parent. Also add a tool to loop through SDEC(409.85, select MRTC Parents, check to how many children should be created (number of MRTCs) and how many PIDS are created. Resolution: A utility tool was created to clean up MRTC parents and children that have data issue due to missing children link to parent. Along with a tool to loop through SDEC(409.85 file to check to how many children should be created (number of MRTCs) and how many PIDS are created. 2) VSE-11035: VistA: Modify SDES2 DISPOSITION APPT REQ and SDES2 CANCEL APPOINTMENT to remove the child request from the parent on MRTC requests. Problem: During research of Tier 3 tickets, it was found that when an MRTC (Multiple Return to Clinics) child is dispositioned from the request grid, it is not removing the child from the parent. Additional changes were found to be needed when testing changes. Logic changes needed to be completed for SDES2 CANCEL APPOINTMENT logic to remove the child request from the Parent if the appointment is being cancelled with a reason that does not reopen the child request. Resolution: SDES2ARCLOSE and SDES2MRTCUTIL were modified to remove the child request from the parent request upon disposition. Also made a change to close parent request when the last child request is closed and when the last child request is closed then update the parent disposition to MRTC PARENT CLOSED. SDES2CANCELAPPT was modified to remove the child request if the cancellation reason does not reopen the child request. 3) VSE-11401: Modify SDES2 BLOCK AND MOVE to correctly identify MRTC requests Problem: Current logic is erroneously identifying requests as MRTCs (Multiple Return to Clinics) if the IEN of the request matches an IEN that is found in the SDEC APPT REQUEST (409.85) File. Resolution: SDES2 BLOCK AND MOVE was modified to correct an issue in the logic that was erroneously hitting Multiple Return to Clinic (MRTC) request logic due to matching internal entry numbers (IENs). 4) VSE-11409: VistA: Modify SDES2 GET APPTS BY CLINIC LIST to add the Preferred Name to the return output Problem: Modify SDES2 GET APPTS BY CLINIC LIST to add the Patient Preferred Name to the return output. Resolution: SDES2 GET APPTS BY CLINIC LIST was modified to add the Patent Preferred Name to the Return output. 5) VSE-11434: VistA: When a child's station number is sent in alone, the RPC is not returning back the clinics. Problem: An issue was reported when a child station number is sent in alone, the RPC is not returning back the clinics. Resolution: SDES2 GET CLINICS BY STATION was modified to recognize and return clinics with a station numbers that have numbers beyond the first three digits. 6) VSE-11437: VistA: Modify the SDES2 GET APPT(s) RPCs to send only active local and active national flags Problem: Modify the SDES2 GET APPT(s) RPCs (Remote Procedure Call) to send only active local and active national flags. Modify logic in SDES2BLDAPPT2 to not send inactive flags (mimic SDES2 PATIENT SEARCH logic). Resolution: SDES2 GET APPT(s) RPCs logic was modified to only send active local and active national flags. 7) VSE-11455: VistA: Create a post install to identify slot counts that are not correct for a subset of clinics Problem: VetText uses open slot management which identifies earlier open slots and offers those slots to a veteran who has a later appointment. On occasion, the slot return tells them that there is availability which does not actually exist. During research the team has identified that the issue seems to be in the decrementing of the slot count when the first appointment is created. Resolution: A post install is included to identify and report clinics within a small subset of clinic stop codes incorrect availability slot counts for. 8) VSE-11571: VistA: Modify SDES2 NO-SHOW to remove appointment information and SDES2 UNDO NO-SHOW to re-add appointment information Problem: During testing of VSE-11035 it was found that SDES2 NO SHOW is not removing the appointment information from the request which is causing an issue with the resequencing of children MRTCs. Resolution: Modified SDES2 NO-SHOW to remove the appointment information from the request when appointment is no showed and SDES2 UNDO NO-SHOW to add back appointment information.
