This patch will address multiple issues with TIU Alerts related to: - Alert text to additional signers receiving the same text as expected co-signers - Additional Signer alerts processed incorrectly for UNCOSIGNED documents in CPRS Patch Components: ----------------- Files & Fields Associated: File Name (Number) Field Name (Number) New/Modified/Deleted ------------------ ------------------- -------------------- 8925.99 START OF ADD SGNR Modified ALERT PERIOD (#3.1) 8925.99 END OF ADD SGNR Modified ALERT PERIOD (#3.2) 8925.99 LENGTH OF SIGNER Modified ALERT PERIOD (#3.3) Forms Assocaited: Form Name File Number New/Modified/Deleted --------- ----------- -------------------- N/A Mail Groups Associated: Mail Group Name New/Modified/Deleted --------------- -------------------- N/A Options Associated: Option Name Type New/Modified/Deleted ----------- ---- -------------------- N/A Protocols Associated: Protocol Name New/Modified/Deleted ------------- -------------------- N/A Security Keys Associated: Security Key Name ----------------- N/A Templates Associated: Template Name Type File Name (Number) New/Modified/Deleted ------------- ---- ------------------ -------------------- TIU BASIC PARAMETER Input 8925.99 Modifed Remote Procedures Associated: Remote Procedure Name New/Modified/Deleted --------------------- -------------------- N/A Parameter Definitions Associated: Parameter Name New/Modified/Deleted -------------- -------------------- N/A Additional Information: ----------------------- New Service Requests (NSRs): ---------------------------- None Patient Safety Issues (PSIs): ----------------------------- None Defect Tracking System Ticket(s) & Overview: 1. TIU-1362 Additional Signer Alert Message Incorrect Problem: -------- When a document has additional signers & requires a co-signer, the additional signers' alert text is the same as the co-signer when the document is an uncosigned status. Resolution: ----------- The co-signer's alert text will indicate the document is ready for co-signature and the additional signer(s) will indicate the document is ready for additional signature. 2. TIU-1363 Removing Additional Signers Create Multiple New Alerts/Alert Tracking Entries Problem: -------- When a document has multiple additional signers, actions on a document creates, deletes, and re-sends document alerts multiple times. Resolution: ----------- TIU will only send an alert update once during additional signer actions reducing the number of entries in the ALERT TRACKING file. 3. TIU-1364 TIU RPC Require Author to Sign? excludes Additional Signers for UNCOSIGNED documents TIU-1389 "INC22939347 - CPRS Additional Signer Alerts displaying as "UNCOSIGNED" and Disapearing without the ADD'l Signer Signing" Problem: -------- TIU allows CPRS to process additional signer alerts before they sign when the document requires a co-signer and has not yet been co-signed. Resolution: ----------- TIU will not return erroneous signature information to CPRS, preventing alerts to be processed without signature for additional signers/surrogates. 4. TIU-1388 Defensive coding for uploading/transcription filing errors... Problem: -------- The TIU upload filer will attempt to send alerts for uploaded documents even when they have filing errors. This may cause TIUALRT to fail and record information in the error trap. Resolution: ----------- TIUALRT will no longer fail when document fields are missing. 5. TIU-1390 Issue with uploaded documents/discharge summaries Problem: -------- When the expected signer and expected co-signer are the same user, the expected signer receives a "COMPLETED available for Additional Signature" after they sign the document. Resolution: ----------- TIU will no longer send an incorrect additional signer alert. Test Sites: ----------- Boise VA Medical Center (Boise, ID) Portland VA Medical Center (Portland, OR) Harry S.
