This patch also removes specific functionality related to the updated output for medication objects that would remove duplicate INDICATION text from the SIG text output. It also provides the following updates for all medication objects: - New parameter value for medication type to display Non-VA medications - Objects whose method sets TIUDATE to limit lookback to X # of days will now display the number of days in the object's header to help differentiate its output from similar objects - TIUDATE supports separate starting and ending dates for inpatient and outpatient medications EHRM Impact Statement: ---------------------- This patch should have no EHRM impact, and can be installed at all sites, including EHRM converted sites. INC36869672/INC36979606/INC3729364 Problem: -------- "Patient Data Object for medications is excluding some Non-VA Medications" "Medication reconciliation lists are not displaying the full list of active Non-VA medications when listed under Non-VA sub-header" Technical explanation - object output with identical parameters and display headers could display different results if a value for TIUDATE was set in the object's method with no external indication given to the user to explain the discrepancy. Resolution: ----------- Site compared object output from 2 different objects that seemingly were supposed to have identical output. One object limited the output to 30 days by setting TIUDATE=30. All objects that set TIUDATE in their method will now display the number of days in the medication output header to easily distinguish that the lookback has been limited via the TIUDATE variable. Previous Output (example header): "Active and Recently Expired Non-VA Medications (including Supplies):" New Output (example header): "Active and Recently Expired Non-VA Medications [45 days] (including Supplies):" Object headers without TIUDATE set will remain unchanged.
